The Phoenix - Justice Department Hack scene was solid. You REALLY wanted Jack to bust into that room for great justice. Also hurray for the terrible redneck plotline ending and no Prez Hair.

many actors put parts of their personalities in a role. we can’t 100% say she’s “being Starbuck” in a different TV role. since she’s that same character for her most famous roles (Bionic Woman, BSG, etc) she might just be playing herself.

I finally got caught up on this season. Overall the it has been pretty weak until recently. I was pretty glad Jack laid down the law on the justice department hack. Does Jack Bauer have to choke a bitch? I loved when Jack Bauer said “Son you better put that gun away b4 you get hurt.” But lets be honest, Jack probably SHOULD have just strolled out of there with Phoenix because everyone is so damned scared of him. That would have been gangsta. I am really getting tired of these CTU directors not having any balls. The setting idea of setting walker up made no sense anyway.
Step 1: Oh shit, Terrorists got nuclear rods, we are fucked!
Step 2: Throw Renee under the bus for killing some random Russian guy.

Yeah, STAY THE HELL OUT MY WAY almost sent the same soul-killing shockwaves as I DONT REMEMBER GIVING YOU PERMISSION TO SAY MY FIRST NAME. Not quite on PPP’s level, but it’s enough to make the 24 Trinity smile a bit. Hunchblack is etching his place in the Matrix of CTU Leadership, once he’s eventually, horribly, brutally killed like other great CTU directors.
This season is really a slow roast, almost like S1. I think the arc with Prez Hair Salon was always pretty interesting and filled with the most doubts. It’ll be interesting to see who was right and who’s really the bad guy in all this. And what’s up with Johnny Sasaki getting all this camera time? Is he going to save the day in some spectacular way, while leaving behind a trail of tears, sweat and urine?

I was seriously laughing out loud or facepalming almost the whole way through. The only thing that made up for it was THE ENEMY WITHIN and THE CTU “I’ll have to talk to my manager” N00B. THE ENEMY WITHIN did a good job of looking crazy, and the N00B did a good job of looking like he was shitting his pants in every scene. Reminds me of the random SAILOR N00B from S5. The Hallmark Terrorism Special next week looks like epic fail though. After the awesomeness of last week this was a huge disappointment.
sigh I was hoping that that terrorist kid upon entering the chamber meant the scrambler signal was blocked, thus blowing himself up.
Episode wasn’t great, a lot of setting up for next weeks episode.
