My guess is BIG BOSS is still alive and is part of this.

Well we already had the hot female version of Decoy Octopus tonight, I wouldn’t put it past the writers.
They use SOP too.
[spoiler=]It seems like after one conspiracy is unraveled, another one rears its head. It reminds me of S1, where suspicion of an assassination plot grew more and more complicated, until it ended on a bit of a WTF moment. I’m also not sold that Tony is ‘evil’ (but a bad guy? Sure), and his motives will make sense before the finale. The writers are really holding the season’s secrets ‘close to their chests’.[/details]
I’m not saying Tony is a sociopath, but the moment he was willing to sacrifice Jack and dozens of FBI agents’ lives just to secure something that can kill thousands I don’t believe in any “greater good.”
He’s done.
Yeah…
…and he had the gall to talk to us about climate change. Bitch, how big was your carbon footprint when you blew up that building?! :annoy:
i like how even though jack’s brain is getting GGPO’d he still figures out whats really going on before anyone else does
How many times has Jack been placed in the same situation? Ask Ryan Chappelle, Paul Raines, even pre-zombie Tony about Jack’s view of the ‘greater good.’ What Tony’s done this season is pretty sinister, but so far the line between Jack and Tony’s MOs are blurring.
Renee in that green dress was hot
Man what is everyone talking about hating on this episode? Tony and Jack’s game of cat-and-mouse was awesome. Tony with time, disease, and confusion on his side, and Jack with his godlike powers of deduction.
My guess is that Jack will just sweat out the toxins due to his intense and burning PSYCHO RAGE.
The Tony vs. Jack duel is going to be epic.
Naw. Jack has NEVER sacrificed the lives of dozens of people for a “greater good” or revenge, which I’m pretty sure is what is behind Tony’s actions. He may have done morally blurred things but he has never disregarded the line that might have to cross.
Tony has.
And Jack would never let a friend die the way Tony was about to let him, which is why Tony didn’t get capped the instant Jack found out about his betrayal.
Renee in a pufferfish suit would still be hot.
Renee in anything is disgusting, she should just not wear clothing…
I was going to say that this was a troll/flame bait post, but then I reread what you said…
-PSYCHO FOXDIE JACK’s Ultra meter is near full now. The world will incinerate once he finds out POOR MAN’S ADAM COROLLA done knocked up his daughter.
-When Jack told Renee he lost two partners in a row over time, was he referring to Chase and Curtis, Curtis and Mike Doyle, or Curtis and Carl (from Redemption)?
-COACH REMEMBER THE TITANS is part of the corrupetd PATRIOTS? Wow, where have I seen that before?
-I called that shit. When COACH TITANS reminded SNIPER WOLF that Almeida “was her man” I saw a double meaning in her facial reaction. Never forget the sudden awkwardness that was the scene where Tony was chilling at the cafe hours ago, seemingly alone.
-Tony is sooo fucked. Possibly denied a silent clock again?!
-I almost felt Hodges was going to pull a fakey. And was last ep the last for Seaton? He >>>>> Janis a.ka. WHITE SANDRA PALMER (semi-relevant to obsurity status)
-WHERE IS CHLOE!!! With her chronic absence and Bill’s passing, I guess this gives the writers the option of killing her in S8…
-Prediction: 5 more episodes, 7 more Teri references. [/Babality]
I didn’t think Renee looked that good in her PSA.
Possibly sexual partners with Audrey and Teri …even though Audrey isn’t actually dead…
OK
I suffered a major killjoy today. I was told Tony’s source was actually named Vincent Cardiff, not Carter. Oh well.
Ryan Chappelle, anybody who died inside the building that blew up last episode who might have survived had Jack allowed them to break the barricade on the area, Paul Raines, every single guard killed in the prison break he instigated in season 3, and others have all been sacrificed by Jack Bauer’s actions. Hell, he was willing to sacrifice that innocent woman earlier in the season, which was one of the problems Renee had.
He was willing to pull the trigger with Chase down in Mexico too.
Tony wasn’t killing him, he just didn’t want Jack spilling the beans, like when Jack choked out Curtis, Renee, or Bill or shot Mason with a tranq.
Not saying that the Tony isn’t really evil idea is accurate, but Jack crosses the line all the time, that is why we love watching. It is the entire purpose of the show. Just about every episode could have a voice-over asking “how far will Jack cross the line next week”.
Two points I want to leave with this argument are
a) This season and Zombie Tony are a wash if his motives are indeed personally motivated (now that’s something Jack would never do-- put people at risk for his own gain; he’d sooner kill himself)
b) Unless a) turns out to be true, then Jack taking out Tony would be fundamentally hypocritical… and for a guy who lives to break protocol to do what’s ultimately the right or the best thing to do, I don’t see that happening.
