NO GRANTLAND AND NOW THIS GUY HAS TO POST ANALYTICS ON INSTAGRAM.
this world is so cruel.
it will get to the point where the league needs to stop jacking and take the best shot for their team. this is why i think grizz can still hang, they just need to be more clever about it.
Drummond doesn’t have an all around game outside of spectacular rebounding. It helps with his second chance points and putbacks to pad his scoring numbers. That doesn’t translate to being the best at his position.
I’m glad CTG has me on ignore. If he can’t do simple breakdowns like this without just looking at stats, then he’s worthless to discussions anyway.
Only guy comparable to Whiteside on both ends of the floor is Boogie, who does more (assists, threes, ball handling). He doesn’t have the same defensive impact that Whiteside does.
He probably wouldn’t have lineups with just Whiteside or Bosh if Stoudemire wasn’t sitting out games. Sadly I don’t think this will change. Seems like STAT came down here just to be another maintenance program participant.
It says a lot about the depth when guys like STAT and Birdman are riding the bench.
a championship contender soon? no but I think best case scenario Porzingis turns into a Dirk that can actually defend… That would be good enough for eastern conference finals with only a mediocre team surrounding him. worst case he lafrentz… and you can forget I ever posted this.
Down to the wire loss for the Grizz…this is the good showing i was asking for from this team. The Grizzlies showed up with energy and got back to playing defense like they are known for…so happy with this effort…they looked alive tonight. They need to carry this back home and get back to playing grit basketball
Not trying to throw it, but the Grizz had plenty of motivation to out there and get a win with that tweet that Clippers intern sent out about them losing to GS by 50.
Im just saying the effort was there for the first time all season against a good team. The perimeter defense looked formidable. Maybe they woke up, maybe it was a fluke…we will see
George Karl has made Omar Casspi a relevant player, if you as a player can not score under George Karl, something has gone terribly terribly wrong on your end.
I used to confuse Dragic and Udrih all the time. Now they’re on the same team.
I’m not happy about the trade because Ennis was involved. Apparently they tried to get a third team involved to give the Memphis players to. When that fell through, they added Ennis to the deal. They save $6 mill in luxury tax, but they got rid of an athletic guy with decent 3&D potential. Oh well.
