Boring trades so far. We have to wait for the big boy stuff tomorrow and Thursday.
I would say the Warriors turnaround started when Lacob and Guber bought them and had to clean up some of the mess that was left. When David Lee signed as a FA, GSW had to overpay b/c frankly, it was tough to attract good FAs. Things started coming together year after year. (i.e. Ellis for Bogut, drafting players that worked out great, signing Iguodala and other role players). Even I’m still surprised at how well this team has done. Imagine 5+ years ago saying “Warriors will win a championship and then a year later have a historical season.”
As for Lee in general, I’m sad he isn’t doing too hot. I’m hoping he can play somewhere else.
really hope Whiteside and Dragic end up in Houston.
Whiteside? Maybe. Dragic? No chance in hell. Not with Harden still on the team.

LOL, Heat reconsidering Dwight trade because of character concerns. Like, really? They didn’t have them before?

maybe its because of shit like this:
something needs to happen this trade deadline. people talking big and holding pat is really fucking boring. last year was amazing… like 1/3rd of the league got traded.
I remember somebody in here saying how much of a leader James Harden was boy was he wrong.
But it’s still not as bad as Dwight proclaiming him and Harden the new Kobe and Shaq. Yeah you have the diva attitudes down but known of the accomplishments.

That’s hilarious that the Nets are in the largest market and yet have the lowest TV viewership in the league.

Let me get this straight. Ainge was willing to give like 4 picks for Winslow on draft night, but he doesn’t want to give 1 pick for Whiteside?
Bless your soul, Danny.

If the Kings want to get swept by the Warriors in the first round that bad, let them.

Last year at the All-Star break the Hawks were first in the East, the West was more competitive and Warriors hadn’t proven themselves yet. A lot of teams considered themselves contenders.
This year if nothing happens it’s because the Warriors are in a class of their own and are on a better pace to win more games than the '96 Bulls. There’s really no point for teams a couple tiers below them to rearrange their roster. If Warriors finish the season at something like 75-7 does anyone in the league think they can lose 4 times in 7 games in the playoffs? Delly would make the Australian Olympic swimming team after all the diving he took at Curry’s knees for the Cavs to even have a chance.

I can see what the bulls get out trading Gasol and snell but not the Kings.
The only real positive is sending out Mclemore (who wants out). Gasol would be a one year rental.
Oh boy. Can’t wait for the bitching about how we didn’t ship out anybody not named Kobe or Russel -_-

Sounds like Gasol is staying put. He might even be around for another season or two.
I could only see him moving if the Bulls somehow got a deal for Okafor. But that seems highly unlikely at this point

Cleveland getting Channing Frye. Varejao to Portland…
Fuck you Morey D-Mo was one of the ones I liked :(.
This better be a crazier offseason then with the huge salary cap bump.
