Off to San Diego!

Udoneko - Now that SDCC is over, can you tell me if there were any left over Summer Specials? Ones that will be at Wizard World Chicago? Just need to know whether to wait for Chicago or to grab this one online now. Thanks! Hope San Diego was fun.

Just woke up! Flew back last night arrived midnight. Came back and worked a bit and then finally get to sleep! LOL!

SDCC is very successful. The Summer special is totally sold out! We have the crew doing sketches for fans non-stop the whole weekend!

We are going to arrange to print more Summer Special for Chicago now!

I got a few retailers coming over and bought stacks, 2 particular are Crazy-cat comics and Jay Company. So they will have the SD Summer Special online for purchase. There is one more guy who took some as well, but I need to find his card and I will post some links later.

Capcom is very happy about the show, and they said they will be doing it agaon next year, possibly bigger involvement too! We have a very good time meeting Shoei and Kinu sensei from Japan. Arnold even did a jam sketch with Kinu sensei!

Thank you to all the fans who make this trip such a wonderful experience! And see you next con - Wizard World Chicago!

anyone got some pics of udon members from the event?

Erik: could you maybe upload some pics for us?
and btw, are there any updates on www.udoncomics.com planned? or maybe a whole new site?

“Vote Bison for President”, real size Sagat sculptso you can take picture with Sagat holding your head…
Too GOOD. Just, top TIER!!!

Jim, our project manager, has some pictures on his site…

I will try to send some of other pix later when I get the chance!

udoneko is the secret thing you were doing almost done and when is the nest street fighter issue gonna be realesed?

Is the Summer Special for Wizard World Chicago going to have new cover art? And will it be considered a “second print?”

A little disappointed that dealers are allowed to just buy up whole stacks… should have been reserved for the fans without the middle men, in my opinion.

udoneko~

Hi! I went to the SD con and I just want to say that I had a great time, you guys were super cool, and the comics are AWESOME! I’m a long time SF gamer, and decided to give the comic a try in SD–It’s been a while since I was into comics, but with this SF series, I’m back in the zone! I can’t wait to get a hold of the dark stalkers as well. But first, I’ll have to complete the SF series (I only got the SD special, poster, and vol.1 small ver). Jim offered me a great deal for the whole set, but I didn’t take him up on the offer (which I regret now). Is there any chance I can have that offer again?

Well anyways, here’s my special issue with an awesome signing/drawing by Hou. Enjoy!:

the con was tight!!@!#@$#!%@#!@ The Udon crew was super nice//i think i bugged them a bit too much o_O i had Siu chong sign like…7 or 8 of my comics lol/ and tsang to sketch bison and sagat.

the SF3ts and H sf2 stands at the udon booth were packed each day//

oh yea,
Evo hosted small tournaments at meeting rooms- got third place playing CvS2 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

:]

hey, erik! glad to see you guys made it home all right; this is the chun-li from the con.

i have a bunch of pics to show / upload for you guys. i’ll get to those tonight or sometime this week.

the summer preview issue was GREAT by the way. the team is doing an excellent job!

tell ken i said hello!

Udoneko:
You guys rock. I’m the guy that requested Alex (done by Arnold Tsang), Urien and Yun (both done by Andrew Chou).
Thanks a lot for everything, really appreciate it.

ps. GAWWWWWWWWWWWWW, just when I got home, my brother said: “You should of requested Sheng Long!”

lol, damn, I’m pretty sure I would of been the only person that requested him.

Anyhow, again, thanks, and I will post up pics of the drawings later.

last note: I think I got on the Capcom guy’s nerves…LOL…35+ wins on the 3S machine…

lol. All bow to Sheng Long!

Are those group pics of the Udon crew? If so, who’s who?

The first one, you have Jo Chen and Ken Siu-Chong on top row, and Christine Choi, Andrew Hou, and Arnold Tsang bottom row.

The second pix, thats left to right - Jim Zubkavich, Arnold Tsang, Omar Dogan, Christine Choi, and Scott Hepburn

Here are the pics of the SF 3S drawings done for me when I was down in San Diego for the Comic Con.

Alex was done by Arnold Tsang, the main artist of the comic.

Urien and Yun were done by Andrew Chou, secondary artists and such.

cool sketches, Yun by Andrew was awesome

and thank you Erik for the “who’s who list!” Really helped a lot!
