I meant more on, the speed of him getting evidence, not him throwing the projectiles as any sort of threat.

The more humor the better. 
He’ll be the one actually taking the bathroom break.
It looks faster with Wright, though. Plus, he still has Maya to cover him while doing it.
Also, don’t forget that he can gather evidence during any period of downtime, whether it’s from a super, waiting for a character to come in, finishing an air combo, etc. It’s not like he’ll be in danger all the time.
Basically, I see Phoenix’s pros and cons like this:
Pros- Great assists, good projectiles in Courtroom Mode, most damaging Level 3 in the game (tied with Vergil), a personal X-Factor mode that can be used more than one time per match, INSANE damage output.
Cons- Slowish, awkward hitboxes (may be small, outside of a few attacks + Turnabout Mode), seems to be assist-reliant, randomness, Investigation Mode.
Phoenix is more or less Platinum from BB done Marvel style.
I say Platinum and less Zappa from GG because of his humorous animations.
hype +1000 if your opp mimes being on the stand as well.
looking forward to maximillians run down of him to see if his randomness is gonna be a massive issue with his gameplan or not, and if theres ways to combo away bad evidence etc.
Yeah, the one thing that irks me about Wright is how gathering evidence is completely randomized. I’m fine with the rest of what I’ve seen, though.
That jumping normal he hits she hulk with at the beginning of his reveal trailer has a ridiculous hitbox.

Modes in order are investigation, courtroom, and turnabout
You can freely switch between investigation and courtroom
In courtroom he can present evidence for beam specials
So far we have seen a straight beam, a half-screen spread (shotgun) beam, and an arcing (homing?) beam
Trying to present bad evidence does nothing and puts him in a long recovery animation
why does everyone compare every character to BB/GG characters?
Wouldn’t be able to dhc until dooms done and gone, but ya pretty sick.
Oh yeah duh lol. But then even if Wright dies, you have Ammy-Doom or Doom-Ammy, both of which are real nice pairings at least in the current game.
