LOL at the dine and ditcher, hahaha…nick was giving jjj shit because when the fat ass tried to leave his table to go to the bathroom(which is what we thought), jjj was in his way, there wasn’t much room for him to scoot in, and nick was all like…“you are soo rude, etc” and then like 5 minutes later the server walks by us and asks where that guy went and we were like…“oh, i think he went to the bathroom”…“no, i just checked”…LOLOLOL, we find out he dined and dashed the fuck outta there. see, what jjj was TRYING to do was to STOP him from leaving, but since nick opened his mouth, jjj was like fine, i’ll let him leave, yall don’t know what you just did.
STORY #1:
so nick was in a car with kiet(driver), shaun, and 2 other people goin to mn for a trip(mvc2?). anyways, while kiet was driving i believe on the way back home, he started to get really tired and fall asleep. i think nick was the only other person still half awake cause he was riding passenger front seat. so anyways, he’s about to pass out and then he sees kiet all of a sudden just start punching his leg to stay awake like there was no tomorrow. HAHAHAHAHa, funniest shit i heard. like in my head, i was imagine kiet doin that, LOL.
STORY #2:
so nick transitioned that story into a car ride in france for stunfest. it was a taxi or some sort of thing where they had a random guy driving. so anyways, so there was like like 3 or 4 top street fighter players in this car including jwong. so anyways, they were all sleeping and like nick wanted to sleep too, except when he looked at the driver, he saw him dozing off like once every 10 seconds. his head would drop and then he would quickly wakeup, rinse and repeat. nick was like fuck this, i can’t allow this, i’m gonna watch this guy, i don’t wanna die. so nick is keepin an eye on this guy and then after a while, the guy dozes off completely and then nick quickly GRABS the wheel and the guy wakes up with like a “OHH shit kinda thing like he just went to sleep”. to conclude the story, nick was like…"we coulda had some top street fighter players die that night."

kaal, you’re startin to get on my nerves…lemme tell you something, don’t judge my play based off online games, you don’t think i get frustrated losing to stupid online bullshit? when i lose to random DP, focus attack anti air shenanigans, it makes me not wanna play online, but i still try to keep calm composure because i tell myself that it’s just “online”. but when you come on here and accuse me of not playing well or fuckin around, it bothers me.
the thing i don’t like about online play is that it promotes scrubby tactics, which is what you were pulling on me the whole time. so if you’re gonna accuse me of playin like shit, take a look at your own style. play me offline and see if that works.
i don’t understand why you play like that, it’s almost like you KNOW what you’re doing is scrubby but still continue to do it as a means to determine who’s good and who’s not except that that really is how you play. it’s as if since i was losing to it, you’re like…“wow i can’t believe he’s getting hit by my scrubby tactics, he must be joking around or playing like shit”…like why do you still play that way? dp’ing in between block strings, using focus attack as anti air, etc. it’s not GOOD. those are both generally scrubby things to do. the ONLY reason you were getting away with those things is because it is hard to react to them online.
I only FA as antiair online because I can’t DP every time online. And I try to only DP in between when I have two meters, because that generally works everywhere because of SF4 being SF4.
Even then, it didn’t seem like you were trying because you were being hella jumpy and playing balrog and blanka. That’s it.

kaal - when it comes down to playing you, u could be easily downloaded after 1-2 matches. once ppl figure you out, you tend to play like a big time scrub. i can’t say shit since sometimes it works, but if thats what you resort to after being downloaded, u need to practice more on your footsies rather than using online tactics.
p.s - damn, i thought i was the one who got on EVERYONES nerves. now kaal is beating me. i need to start pissin ppl off more. (ASS MODE ON)

but i really was getting frustrated because you were using very scrubby tactics. for you to come on here and say i wasn’t playing well or joking around when you yourself was using scrubby tactics to beat me online. it’s like a slap in the face.
and i do not want to promote the use of tactics like that by losing to it. since i cannot react to certain things online, i have to yomi to find another answer and it doesn’t always work.
but i shouldn’t use the fact that i can’t react to certain things online as my main excuse, because in tournament play, sometimes your reaction fail you so it’s best to have solid strategy instead. so it’s whatever.
well listen, jeff lost quite a bit of money…i want to try to help him…maybe set up some type of donation cause this man works hard to make these tournies happen for our scene.
just think of it this way, he added that pot bonus to attract out of towners to try to make this big and it worked. so please STL players, try to donate some of the winnings back to jeff. i’m gonna try to donate at least $10 or $20 next time i see him but man…this guy got hit HARD!!! he doesn’t deserve that.

i’ll probably be hooking jeff up with a tri (gcn) or quad (ps2 + gcn + 360 + ps3) SE/TE stick for christmas, with custom art and paintjob. basic idea was to accept donations from the community and have everyone who donated sign the bottom in sharpie or something more permanent idk.
