Like I said, we do still have one older jap stick, but it was reallllly loose. We could get two new jap sticks but they’d probably cost $15-20 a piece plus $10-15 shipping. If you wanna buy one of the sticks we’ll get the other one and install them, but it’ll probably be a couple of weeks. Only thing is, once we put new jap sticks in there, NOBODY better bitch about them, because it’s either jap sticks or the stiff ones we have now!

The MvC2 sticks at Gameware ain’t that bad, I was shocked at how tight the radius was, but it’s really easy to get used to.

Play with anyone who has to triangle dash and you’ll get 0wned. The Jap sticks were waaay better.
EDIT; Also i played on those stick for a good hour or so and I really couldn’t do much of anything, especially on the 1 player side. Anything involving angles or quick fireball motions is near impossible. launch, short, fly, short, fp, unfly short, fly shot, fp ain’t happening on those sticks.

Again console is great for tourney play…but on a random wednesday night or something i’d rather go to gameware and keep them in business while maybe meeting random people then it just being me and you playing at home.
AHA!! Looks like there’s a chance that Ultimarc.com sent us those sticks with the restrictor plates on upside down, because the ‘throw’ range on those are supposed to be identical to Happ Supers. I’ll take a look at them tonight and see what I can do. There’s a good chance we won’t have to buy more new sticks after all.
Stone and/or Dawan, let me know if you’re coming to Gameware tomorrow so I can have that tape ready, or let Steve and Stephen know that you’ll be here to pick it up.
