i forgot to post this earlier but the only problem with the big MvC2 cabinet is that the sticks were just a wee bit too short, they worked fine though.
About a get together…anyone have a particular good day or date for them? I’m pretty sure i can have one whenever but i got no idea when a good time is for everyone.

Yeah the gumball sticks don’t really work too well for MvC2, that’s why I ordered those american-style Sanwa sticks for the Sega cab. Happ sticks won’t mount properly in japanese cabs, so it’s a good thing the bat-top Sanwas exist. It was $45 for two of them though… :eek:

Great to see everyone from NO and BR show up (you too, Greg) – it was cramped as shit, but hey, we only have so much space to work with. :o
Like I said, we’ll have GGXX #Reload in the arcade with 100% new Competition sticks Tuesday morning, along with DDR Extreme if all goes well. MvC2 is also getting those new sticks, so I hope to see everyone back next week.

You’ll have to make sure you order the right version of the fliptop, and don’t forget to order the bootdisc with it.
You might want to go online and do a search to make sure how to install it, it’s pretty easy.
i got version 7… dont you just install it by taking the cover off of the ps2 and putting the fliptop cover on instead… itd be cool if you could do that shit for me or something… whatever… anyways, will xx#reload work on my ps2 if i have this on it? cuz ive heard from mike that reload wouldnt work on my ps2 if it was modded cuz mine is too new… clear this up with me cuz i dont wanna buy this shit and have reload not work cuz my ps2 is too new… and damn $18 extra for a boot disc… shit is expensive
