Yoh…Lots of #R comp this weekend. Friday this 30 year old Japanese Lady in a skirt was schooling me with Ky!:eek: :lol: No lie, she was a beast. By far the best Ky I’ve ever seen. We played like 50 game straight, I got her like 30-20. I really couldn’t believe it, I’d never seen a female so good, much less someone’s mom.
Saturday, there were 3 guys completely owning me. A Venom, Johnny and Dizzy. The Venom was really solid. All the nasty lockdown and combo’s. That Dizzy player made me lose sleep that night. I’ve never seen anything like that. He was absolutely insane. The Johnny player was doing that fast dash all day, he’d do it like 4 times in a row. Nasty combos.

I know it’s a public event, and that you probably have to pay for viewing the thing. We watched a video of the finals at your house, with all the fancy lights and shit while announcing the players, remember?
Anyway, there’s bound to be some random arcade player who speaks English that can help you. (Either ask for SBO, or Super Battle Opera, the latter is probably better to ask for) It’s probably the biggest publicized event to videogamers down there, since it’s the only one in Japan with a cash prize. You can’t enter it unfortunately, since the qualifiers are already finished with, and they only enter a certain amount of players from each region.

It was pretty good. There were 3 perfects in MvC2 in one day lol. I had only seen 3 perfects in my entire marvel career before that. Duane perfected me and Chris and Chris perfected Brydon lol. Magneto is so cheap.
