King of Fighters 94 Rebout is actually not going to be based on the Neo Geo engine like all the other King of Fighters. Instead, it is going to have a totally new graphics engine that looks way better than all the other King of Fighters and SVC:Chaos. Looking at the videos, the graphics look even better than the Street Fighter Zero games. And judging by SNK, it will play great too.
The graphics engine is just a revamped version of the KOF 94 engine. Why the sprites aren’t completely redrawn, I don’t know, but it’s like that regardless. As for the gameplay, I hear this game was made for the fans who wanted a KOF 94 port since there wasn’t one, so the gameplay probably isn’t far from that one. I’ll try it out, but I’ll most likely go back to playing 98 and 2k2.

There certainly seems to be “hot air” coming from both sides. I personally have been to N.O. with a couple of the fellas form BR (I didn’t play much. My fighting game days are long past) and no one from New Orleans just came out and blasted them. As a matter of fact, BR seem to be having their way with them until a guy (who I didn’t know was “Magneto X” at the time) came over and started gigving them the business.
And reports on the one who is called “Lamegreen ninja” by most B.R. players haven’t been anything remotely resembling respect. But it is only fair that something of this MAGNITUDE be settled in both teams hometowns. I will personally pay for the BR team to go to N.O. and take you guys on whenever you guys can agree to a date. That way nobody can say “we shouldn’t have to go there” or “There is no comp over there” or WHATEVER the next excuse could be.
So then WHENEVER you guys can agree to it as it is an OPEN date (meaning WHENEVER YOU GUYS DECIDE ON IT) we will have it over at VS and then the BR players can come down to finish it in N.O. at dibbz. Or vice versa.

About Nate: Never seen his twelve, but his Ibuki is pretty good. He’s got the distance on her df.mk perfect, pretty hard to punish it, even if blocked. And he can f.HK ANY character all day, and can’t shit u can do about it. Plus his lp walk up throw game is STRONG, and he knows all the juggles and BnB. Not to mention Ex Kunai assults. Just saying cause I watch him play and he doesn’t deserve the hate. They’ll see Nate.They’ll see.
