First off big props to VS…I think it was waaaay better than everyone expected…place looked greats and all the tournaments ran smoothly for the most part…I didn’t like the mvc2 sticks too much but everyone else did so I can’t complain…plus it was my first time ever playin on 360’s…

Chris easily won marvel…David comes from out of nowhere to get 2nd :wow:…3S finals were great between Duane and Nibor… Duane was in winners, so Nibor won first set (4-3 I think)…2nd set duane went up 3-0…then it became 3-3…then an extremely tense final…Nibor pulled it off…
btw duane, i hope u recover from that. i bet that shit hurt real bad. im assuming u dragged nibor in the woods on the side of I10 and beat him in a ditch? guy must have been wearing some “red sox”
Whew! Just wanted to say thanks to EVERYBODY that showed up to make our opening night a huge success! (Big ups to all you out of towners that made the drive.) We still have a few things to improve, but over all it seemed like everybody had a good time.
Alot of hate and beef was squashed (Both Ben Monkey and Naysayism showed up. Turned out to be one BIG misunderstanding. All has been cleared up.) We all ended up having a blast. The first VS champions were crowned tonight as well. I’m sure you guys will be gunning to take them out in a month when they will have to defend their titles.

1st off I liked to thank everyone who came out. It was a blast! La has a new hot spot and a New Big, Big turny spot. I saw some faces i don’t get to see to often anymore too, sorry if i didn’t get to talk with ya too much. So if i seemed to just blow u off it was cuz of work, work, work. But I still had a blast running the turny, and thanks for bearing with whatever hiccups i made. It was great hanging with all and i can’t wait to do it again!

I’m pretty much done with the videos. Due to a number of reasons it’ll probably be one big file. I decided that instead of hosting an ftp or webserver I’ll share it on direct connect first, then I’ll post it on usenet, then try to torrent it.
But before I do any of that; the video is kinda plain right now.
If anybody wants to come over to my house tomorrow and add comentary or any other suggestions to the vid let me know. Just to give a ballpark estimate of where I live. My neighborhood is off staring lane, some notable nearby landmarks are the church of baton rouge and george’s southside.
In addition to adding comentary I can add music files or overlay text anywhere. Some other things too. Lemme know if anybody’s interested. If you can come bring a blank cd or dvd so you can take the finished vid with you. I think I can make a file playable in a dvd player, I’m about to try it…
For match videos, I think people are just interested in knowing who’s using who in the matches. Just inputting text indicating who’s playing is probably good enough.
Unfortunately we kind of lost track of the two 2nd place finishers after the championship match. Dakota says he knows how to contact them and will. But I know that the Marvelous_one post on this site. So if you are out there buddy you receive a 20$ store credit, free entry into the next tournament of your choice, and a free meal here as well. :tup:
