yeah i think the damage was up just a tad… that tokido color urien player josh did like 3 moves to nick and yun had less than half health… really ridiculous… yeah my triple kara elena wouldnt have done shit last night ben… i was way off of my kara game… missing that shit left and right… poor gouki taking so much damage… i would have nick to like a notch of health left and i would be at nearly full and then hed get a genei jin combo on me and steal the match… really retarded stuff.
pretty much, if i was a top 3 contender it’d definately be worth it, don’t get me wrong i like the atmosphere and all that tournies produce, but i gotta sacrifice a shitload which is more important than leisure.
sure i’m the worst NO player, but I didn’t have any competition from BR, that HAS to say something about you guys. But i hear you guys are practicing so i really think if you guys can show it’s worth the trip at any given time, it’ll be soon. Don’t take it as a diss as much as it is demand for better players in LA. You can only take playing the same group of people so much before you start to wonder how well you’d fair against other people with other main characters, you know? I say, if it’ll get you more motivated to practice to beat my ass in 3s, take it personally :badboy:

… Uh yeah, the damage for 3S was on 2 (default) – I put it on 1 and a Gigas Breaker did about a fierce punch worth of damage on Ken. So I’m keeping it on the default, but I’ll be happy to show anyone the damage level in the settings anytime someone says it’s too high.
Think about it… try playing 3S about 2 feet away from a 29" screen at home and watch how much of the bar goes away from a Hyper Bomb. You’ll realize it’s just because the screen is so huge that it looks like certain moves do so much damage. It’s just big pixels, folks! :bgrin:

I’m no where near New Orleans at all… If anything I’m closer to Baton Rouge. I’ll rather go to New Orleans any time cause of better comp and more players dedicated in getting better at 3s. Seems like everytime I go, someone is always getting better.
On another note - I won’t be able to go to the VS tourney. That weekend I will be in H-town chillin’ at Stargate.
