Ban, 360 players will be are a disadvantage if there opponent is using PS3 guys.
I want the Special Edition. No idea which console I will get it for now, I may get it on both eventually but I’m not dishing out money for two special eds. 5 characters is fun outside of tournaments. XBL > PSN when it comes to community.
Another thing to add, when the PC version comes out it wont have the PS3 exclusives either.
I have to agree 100% with you there. I was playing sf4 exclusively for quite a while. I had a hard time finding players to play against on a regular basis and when I did find them it was more often laggy then not. I recently switched to 360 and its been a world of difference. QM finds opponents super fast and I experience little or no lag the majority of the time. When it came to picking a system for SFxT it was a no brainer for me.
The argument ‘Japan Arcade players had little experience in SSF4’ is a invalid argument. Why make people suffer now because people suffered the same way in the past? That ruins the whole point of moving forwards.

Jesus christ, this set of arguments is fucking retarded. Console exclusives have always, always been banned. I mean, the Japanese players (all 10 of them at most) should be treated on the same level as the huge user base of console users? What about the rest of the time, every other Evo and big international tournament, when Japan had the game for months if not years before anyone else? Yes, it’s not fair, but expecting 10 people to get to a console in this day and age is not a big deal. Expecting what could be 300-400 people to all be able to adapt in the same way? The fact is, the majority matters in this case, and hell it was much harder for people in the U.S to get to an arcade back in the day.
Personally all I want to know is what the game runs more smoothly on. I have both systems and I’d love to play with 5 extra characters, but if the game runs with the usual delay, or has that washed out color pallet like with the SFIV and Marvel games on PS3 in the past, then I’ll say fuck it and snag up the 360 copy. Exclusives or not, I want to play on the system that’s optimized for this game.
This is what I wanna know and why I haven’t decided which console… What good is 5 characters if it delays or has problems…
If I didn’t win the x the line contest and will be getting the game for free for ps3, I probably would have gotten it for xbox 360. I love my xbox more. IMO, It has a better online service than psn.

Just going to throw this out there-
For people who have the option to play on either console, consider getting SFxT for the console it runs worse on (as long as it isn’t crazy worse). It has gotta suck to show up for an event running on the console you don’t use and drop your shit because there is an extra frame of input delay you aren’t accustomed to.
PS Vita has 12 new characters. VITA ONLY PLEASE! FUCK PS360!
They will come as DLC for 360 and PS3, however I guess they will be so new they will have to be banned.
They have to be DLC as they are core members of each side and not “guest” characters. I predict they will be released either very soon after release or alongside the Vita Release of SFxT in a big bundle. “Street Fighters Pack!” for $9.99 or “Iron Fist Warriors Pack!” for $9.99. Then there will be a combined version for $14.99 to get all 12.
Seeing as how Sony is putting more money out for this release, i predict that PS3 will get the characters at most a month or at least a week before 360 owners unless Microsoft catches on that this game is big and decide to start caring about it. Very cool to see these characters are indeed coming though. Although being new I don’t think it warrants a ban. Jill and Shuma weren’t banned if I remember correctly. However if tourney runners didn’t have them, they didn’t have them.
Ban them all IMO. Same level of a playing field.
