@Mayu Ocarina
The thing about Bison is that he is relatively easy to pick up especially with j.HP and s.HK and so people who have only been playing him for a short while may seem quite good. To put it in context however this guy’s Bison is about a 5/10. To get to an 8 or 9, he needs to start using 4+ hit combos and also hit confirming his super.
But at only 7 years old, he’s got tons of time to improve so more power to him
first time posting a video of my bison… This match up is against a vega and I have no idea how to play against him. At some parts you can tell that I panicked haha. lmk what you think! I will be posting up a chun video as well I just need to record it…

The most important things (IMO) a Bison player needs to learn how to do is play good footsies, be patient, and have an amazing anti-air game.
Some tips:
Now of course I’m not the best Bison on the planet myself so it’s easy for me to watch a video and say this is what you should or shouldn’t do and then do these things myself. But to be a better player, you should definitely look into those 6 things above. Also, although I made a list of things you shouldn’t do, you also shouldn’t play Bison like me (turtley and afraid to go on offense). Oh also, I forgot- Most Vegas lose to jump in pressure. Of course when you reach higher levels, some of what I said is less easy to apply, but should still ring true.
Anyway, hope those things helped.
thanks for the info! The head stomp and slide was a bad habbit I picked up when I first started playin bison and now Im trying to break it. Same goes for the psycho crusher. As for the random ultras, I dont know why I did the first one, the second one I thought i was going to counter him, and the 3rd one I used it to run away hahaha… Every now and then I can start my combos with cr. lk but sometimes I feel that if im too close to the person it doesnt connect… Again thanks for the input!
Constructive criticism much appreciated

I don’t have hardly any Bison vs Sim exp so… I’m not qualified to say anything.
For Sakura, it seemed like you were hiding your tricks for the most part… each round you started doing something different in moderation (like neutral jumps) and it caught the Sakura nearly every time so nice work with that.
You need to anticipate throws better, they were pretty predictible on that Sakura’s part, and they are quite easy to avoid or punish with Bison as he has several options for them. Your Bison is great so no need for me to explain how, just start looking out for it more and react accordingly.
You can ex sk through fireballs. It’s pretty good against sims spamming limbs. Headstomps are good against those too sparingly. That roundhouse was good against teleport. Jumping from the right spacing is good for closing in distance. You gotta maul when you’re in close and like the commentator said, you let him out the corner when that game would’ve been almost free. Good match though man.
@SniperNightOwl
Your right I got thrown to many times.Thanks for the complement.:china:
@CMONBABY
I could have used more scissors I got way to used to just using focus versus ghandi to get in. Also I have gotten better using slide to trade and get in.
Thanks for catching stuff I didn’t get or notice.It always helps to have another set of eyes look at my matches and gain a fresh perspective.:woot:
Hi, I’m a Guile/Chun player. I just started playing bison today and want to main him here’s some vids of me playing him in ranked. Sorry for posting this in he wrong video thread I just noticed a thread called video critique.

Constructive criticism is welcome.
Made it on the SRKLIVE stream…god I suck I teching throws ;(
Justin.tv - Shoryuken Live on XBL - SRKLive - Shoryuken - Open Lobby
LAME…I like it.It’s hard to be good at teching throws online and offline unless you have a gdlk connection.Atleast that has been my experience.
^tru dat…Also, I view playing Dictator as a chess match …take your time and think about your every move
Does Kuma play AE? I don’t think Ive seen even one video of his from AE.
He actually play AE but he is not as good as he was on vanilla. His gamer tag is ???
still having alot of trouble getting out of cammys mixups :(. and i can’t fucking see which way shes going to EX cannon strike me when she knocks me down, its a nghtmare. this is a video of me fighting my buddy scott last night at casuals
quality isn’t bad if u set it to 480p
I am the 5 K pink Bison in all these vids.
Heard Dallas had lots of Bisons… and it seems they have an affinity for putting Bisons against Bisons so I thought I’d get some practice. Juri ain’t gonna do anything against a Bison who knows his stuff so I gotta be on top of the ditto. Before watching keep in mind with my connection I CANNOT do cr lk x 3, offline I almost never drop that combo (even during criticals moments when my opponent is mashing ultra lol… I don’t choke). Also it’s very difficult to jump in on me offline, I always have that neutral jump heavy kick ready.
Lastly my Bison may seem limited and that’s because there’s lots of things*** I don’t even attempt to do online because… well… I can’t with my connection***. Even so I win through spacing, reading, and punishing. With this in mind while watching here are some matches against 3 other SRK Bisons…
Bison 1 this Bison had worse connection (he’s waaay north of me but he’s awesome player- much respect and love to him so and he asked if I wanted to play so I accepted.) took me a few matches of getting [S]slapped [/S]use to it until I started playing fairly as good as I can for online:

I think I know this match up well… however when Bison does a full screen psycho crusher gimmick how do I tell it’s spaced safely, and what are my best options
thanks! My Bison on vacation for long time now from online, couldn’t even cr lk x 3 offline after all that, but I fixed it again. I’m very sensitive player- but generally we are the ones who excel offline =)
