ms isn’t what causes the lag. post processing systems do
Reciting what tech talk says, response time has nothing to do with lag. Ultimately you need to do lag tests (with CRTs, 60fps cams like flip video, or games like Rock Band) to determine lag.
If you run through HDMI, try finding computer resolutions on the Xbox instead of the progressive or interlaced HD sizes because that should remove the post-processing. You should still test afterwards.
Thanks Allister - it’s appreciated, but if the monitor lags, we probably can’t use it for tournament. If it’s not tested, it’s not worth the trouble to bring it if we can’t use it for tournament, you know? I always want to have people bring stuff it they are able - one of my worst fears is not having enough stations - but I don’t want too many people to bring stuff and us not have space for it.
For future reference, you have a 360 or PS3?
I have a 360. I’ll try to figure out the lag one of these days. :<

Without thinking about it, it’s easy to forget the people that make this possible. No special occasion to mention this, but I do want to thank the players for giving me the opportunity to run these.
