I had a few questions about this, which I guess anyone [more specifically the tourney organizers] could answer.

  1. I’d only be able to make it to the qualifier on Dec. 3rd, is that still okay?
  2. I don’t believe the OP gave an address for where that tournament is supposed to be held [nor the others, it seems], so I was wondering if I could maybe get that.
  3. I see some people registering team names/players, but the OP says that characters also need to be registered beforehand. Do I have to send the OP a PM regarding the characters, and then post the player names/team name here, or what?
  4. When exactly is the tournament on Dec. 3rd supposed to begin? Also, will there be time for casuals prior to the actual tournament starting?

I guess that’s about all I got. Sorry if these are kind of dumb questions, but I’ve been wanting to get into the fighting game scene for awhile now and I suppose this would be where I start, so I just needed to make sure of some of these things. Thanks :3

Scruffy…

  1. Coming that day is okay from what I understand since ONLY the top 2 from each venue advance…meaning you can technically play in all three tournaments if you don’t advance.

  2. 2 of the three places are actually physical locations. A&C is downtown and can be found through google, and Heroes world is on highway 7 and Warden I believe, in the same plaza as the futureshop and nofrills.

3)I think character(s) locks will be enforced AT the tournament when you register. I.E ‘I’m Scruffy and I’ll be using Hakan ;)’

4)Don’t know the Start time since I’m sure the owner of Heroes is busy and will decide closer to the date. The earlier you get there the better chance you have for casuals. Heroes also has Casuals every Wednesday.

No dumb question, too many Dicks on SRK might think other wise but hey, they’re dicks.

  1. Tiger Slap is correct. Also if you do not qualify in one tournament, you can change your character/team in the next qualifier.

  2. The schedule for the qualifiers will be up shortly. They will follow the basic setup that is usually done on regular tournament days.
