Would anyone be against me switching times for MK9 and Vampire Savior? That would put MK at 2pm and VS at 630pm. I’ll keep it the way it is if that causes a conflict with anyone.

What a blast to start the season. Soooo many games to participate in, and everything was fun to play (except getting bodied in CvS2 on the stream, haha). Shoutouts to big Zack for the intense Puyo Puyo matches and Matthias for pointers in VS, but moreso Columbus for having a great fighting weekend. Way to go guys.

Week 1 results are posted. Thanks to all those who came out. Lots of people from outside the area showed up including a crew from KY who drove 5 hours. Great start to the season. Thanks to Dandy J for streaming. Thanks to Keith, Pat and Ed for helping me run games.
Next ranbat has TETRIS ATTACK and a MYSTERY GAME tournament! $2 entry to Mystery Game. I’ll have some great, mostly non-fighting game stuff lined up.

Jesse, Avi didn’t play in the Mortal Kombat tournament. He entered but dropped out/forfeited and we replaced him with Sai.
EDIT: It’s a shame so few people participated in that tournament. Gotta get some more entrants for next time.
Please start VS later on the 10th, hell if you could start MvC and CvS2 later that’d be great as well. I’m stuck working till probably 4 or 5. I could probably get to AL by 6. I realize MvC and CvS2 likely can’t start late due to # of entrants and time.

@Adam - MvC starts at 6 so you will be fine. There’s no way CvS2 can start late. It went to the final moments of the evening. We can do VS later if everyone is OK with it. That’ll be a lot of games going on at once though so I will need help running stuff.
Won’t be a regular this season but I will make it to the September one. I’ll help run tournaments as well since I’ll only be playing Marvel 3 and I’ll probably go 2 and out as always

@Zach thanks for listening to me about the car and vampire. I know I can be a whiny bitch. You were really cool about everything. Thanks for the car advice. I’m def going new car now, but I might be getting the chevy aveo instead (its low end version seems more common than the versa’s stick model. Possibly tsunami related). Also, thanks for showing me that skyline has veggie options!
