Awesome man! Yeah I know there’s a lot of LB players but arent’t fully organize yet like other city. We definitely got good players and gotta spread the word about LB events. Ves & Airtola are both from LB and they are beast in Ae & MVC3!
Heck yeah dude, have you played Black Juan yet? He frequents the sessions at my place, hes vicious as fuck. He plays a lot of MVC3 and AE at wednesday night fights. Things are looking up if you guys are getting sponsored! Me and d0s from long beach have been working on getting a club started at Long Beach City College. Hopefully we can have some inter-school tourneys! Our club ain’t lookin so hot right now, but we’ll keep at it!
I go to lbcc actually, sounds interesting, I’m never on campus though unless I’m at/going to/leaving class. If you ever get it in good shape let me know.
I haven’t played Black Juan, but I’m aware of him because of his marvel 2 play. I should be able to get to your session this thursday. Sorry I had to flake out the last time I RSVP’d, I’m looking forward to it. Diverse comp is something that I really need. I’m exceptional at 8 or so AE matchups, solid at 10 or so others, but I’m bad at fighting half the cast simply from lack of experience. I’m also trying to learn mvc3, but it’s slow going, combos in this game are so easy for the most part, but movement is hard.
I actually tried to start a club at LBCC when I used to go there but then the people who makes club was so harsh. They didn’t let us use the room for ANYTHING!
I wish I can attend sessions and bring set ups to help out but I work night shift. Sat is my only free day which is the tourney day.
If we get a lot of people, we can even try to bring back the rival schools thing back then with UCI, USC, UCLA, etc. It be so legit
