Damn, you have some great family members. Your aunt, your female cousin, and your mom are the best for being so supportive and understanding. How great is that, to have another relative in the family that’s gay? It sucks that he had to go through all that, but he sounds like he’s a better person for struggling through all of those trials.

Ugh, work is now officially annoying. This past weekend the boss let me know that the owner thinks I’m stealing.
Okay now let me break down my situation. I work at a gay bar that’s located on a strip. While we have more clientle than a few others, we get the trashy customers who don’t tip. I’m fully aware that I could make more at another bar, but I make enough for myself here and I’m happy. Hell some of my favorite customers are bad tippers or don’t tip at all.
Anyway, I’ve been ringing up really high numbers on my registers, sometimes even more than the rest of the bar, which is really cool I thought since I work at the slowest station. But for some reason the owner is being a dick and is invoking a “No backpacks at work” rule. Kind of not a coincidence since I’m the only one who uses a backpack.
All in all it pretty much sucks since I loved my job. But I can see the writing on the wall. The assistant manager has been trying to get his friends in to work for us but we’re currently a full staff so I know he’s pulling some of the owner’s strings with me and my best friend.

I read the whole thing. I’m really happy for you, and glad they were as accepting as they were! The only real hard part for coming out for me is bringing it up… definitely the worst part for some reason. That’s the only reason my family doesn’t know… I was hoping they’d be more inquisitive as to my seemingly random move to Edmonds, having also seemingly random nights out staying in Edmonds previously. However, being born in Edmonds helped balance that out, and my parents aren’t really ones to pry (well, in most cases). My mom has suspicions/probably kinda knows, my dad has very, very slight suspicion but neither would have a problem with it.
Makes me wonder how many gay relatives I have, if any… My dad had a lot of brothers and people have thought he’s gay. . . :lol:

I hadn’t seen my bf in a while but his visiting family left this afternoon so he came over to see my place. :lovin: What a wonderful surprise! Totally made my night. Also, today was my first day working with the boss Mark since he and his got back from their vacation… and it turns out I steam milk better than the two like reigning excellent baristas that work there already. Awesome.
I did just find out that I gotta be real cheap with my money though… we had slight warning but my dad’s company is shutting down so he’s out of a job, and he’s, you know, really helping me with my bills. Sucks. We’ll figure something out. I’m almost positive I can qualify for a food card now, I’m stoked about that! :lol: My sister’s generous with hers, too. :tup: Moving out rocks. Being able to have my boyfriend over like that… :bgrin: :bgrin:

That same shit happened to me when i worked at nasdaq. My boss wanted to get his friends into the company cause 5 of his friends already worked there. All of a sudden i had “performance” problems. Him and his friends would totally set me up too. one would say Oh do things this way don’t worrry about doing it the other way this is the new way. I’d do it and then I’d get yelled at for doing it that way. Then when they were called to task on it they would be like… oh we never told him to do it other than the standard way.
Eventually he canned me and hired 3 of his buddies. It’s all good though I found a better paying job later that same day.
a few cuties there and even the ones that werent were at least very huggable.

BC isn’t very good for decent husky and smaller bears, though. They’re definitely there, but not in anywhere near as high a density as straight up chubs/bear chubs and chasers (in which case, it’s pretty much the best there is to my knowledge). It also does depend on area, but that’s obvious.
Granted I only use it for porn anyway, but yeah.
