I might compete in final round this year. Gotta make sure I’ll be in town/have the money, but it’s in March right? I’m heading up to NYC in a couple weeks to visit and help a friend move (I’ll get you those dates, GTC, if you got the free time), but I think I could get the funds together for both. I’d like to compete again. I haven’t played in a tournament since … MvC1.
I think I may actually try to go to Final Round as well. I don’t really have much experience in travel though so I’m going to have to research and work up the courage ^_^;

As much as I would LOVE to go to FR I know I’m gonna be too low on funds to attend. It’d be nice since my BF’s friend lives in ATL. I’m not even sure how I’m gonna save up for the trip to NYC in June for another mutual friend’s birthday. Perhaps a local bear event or Evo 09.
Anyways next month is me and my BF’s first anniversary. I wanna do something REALLY special but not be too mushy (we met on Valentine’s Day but he doesn’t like the lovey dovey junk). Maybe a jazz bar or a weekend retreat would be good. I’m just praying that my bonus check comes in on time.
I dunno if I can this year. If I can hitch a ride for relatively little cash with some MIA peeps, I’d definitely be down to show, but otherwise money is tight.
