Can a collection of say, Aria Giovanni be found on a gay guy’s hard drive?
My point is this: After the thread evolved into something beyond IWST the focus shifted away from him and became a positive sub-community for people who were gay, bi, or simply just curious to the life and culture of the gay community. The fact that it became so, it suddenly turned into something he didn’t intend it to. His view points thereafter, opinions, or ideology of what he wants the thread to be shouldn’t have been used to close it- because it is bigger than him. His opinion and advice to Sep should not have been used to close the thread. It was the most mature thread i’ve ever seen on ANY game forum, and it was positive.
I’m more upset with the admin for closing the thread. If anything, IWST should have asked the thread to be STICKIED instead of deleted.

I wanted to break gay stereotypes with my thread. In the end all we did was reinforce the stereotypes I was originally trying to break. I was even a part of it, that’s why I feel so shitty. So please STFU and keep your fucking whining to yourself.
If it makes you happy then, I was selfish, i wanted all the attention for me, cause there was so much for me to gain from that thread. Since catchafire was a huge part of that thread I can honestly say he clearly knows what I was all about and respect his opinion entirely. My selfish reasons for creating the thread were crushed by all the other gay SRK members. And catchafire knows because he was such a great supporter and poster in that thread.

I actually came out on that thread. Rarely would a straight guy come in and start stuff and if they did it was usually in a joking manner. They were closed however (one was partly due to me and the ‘Scoot’ nonsense and I think the other just died). Once they closed, most of the gay started posting over on Gamingforce. I had made a gay thread over there where there is a large gay population. It was good for a moment. But GTC and Drumliner Joe who migrated over from SRK, hated me for a fight we had on the dying gay thread on SRK (I can’t remember what about). Added to the fact that alot of the posters on Gamingforce were weird 15 year olds crying about stuff, it just didn’t work.
I didn’t hardly pay any attention to the ‘Ask a gay thread’ however because it was bound to be filled with ‘Do you cum funny colors’ type of questions. Sure enough…
