I used to do a LITTLE photo editing in highschool when I was on yearbook. I know you can like fuzz the ends to make it fade better into the background for the picture and I’m sure the elisha cuthbert background will not fit exactly to the stick’s dimensions so we could just use the background color of the picture to fill what it wont fit.
Or maybe these pictures just won’t work out for stick dimensions… any ideas / criticism would help

So you want to have both pictures on the stick?
Yeah the idea would be to use the Elisha Cuthbert picture as a background and then maybe cut and put the other babe (Radeo Suicide) in on the bottom left corner if possible. Again if this isn’t possible I will gladly just pick one babe or look for new pictures with better resolutions.
Hey Slash, do you do art? I am gonna use some goo-gone cus I peeled the crap art off of a stick, but I just want a vinyl sticker… Not in near near future tho.
Doesn’t sound completely impossible, but some reconstruction might be necessary, as Radeo’s head is lopped off at the top. Or maybe you could line things up so that it’s covered up by the stick, anyway? She wouldn’t be flush with the left side, then, but idunno.
You might want to start with the template here: http://iplaywinner.com/joystick-art-templates/ … and just do a quick paste on there and see how things are going to line up.
The bottom left corner should probably have enough room for a picture like the one you posted, but I wonder if maybe the larger pic might not end up having most of her facial features obliterated by buttons.
I’ve been thinking of trying to get Fooray to draw me a stick with Fuerte and Ibuki or something.
Alright so I figured that the ratio size resolution thing of the stick background artwork is that of my widescreen monitor (approximately) so I found this for the background artwork: http://www.desktopexchange.com/gallery/albums/Elisha_Cuthbert_widescreen_wallpaper/Elisha_Cuthbert_11.jpg
And we’d just flip it so she’s on the left (Out of the way of my buttons) and then we could stuck radeo in the bottom right where the SF4 logo is on the original stick art. Yes / No? I think this will be much better and will require much less work.

I don’t know about how low-res art like that is gonna look once it’s printed out! You might not care or notice (might have to look kinda hard to see the pixels n’ stuff), just saying it’s something you might want to think about. Screen resolution is usually around 72 dpi, but for print resolution most people aim for more - 150 and 300 dpi aren’t uncommon.

Honestly, I think you should just download some free paint program and give it a shot! Scaling a picture is not very hard, and it’s probably quicker and easier than playing telephone with some asshole guy on the forum like me who’s all like “no what you really want is what I want.” What’s important is that you’re happy with it, and you’re the one who’s going to know when that’s true.
Cool, thanks for the input. I don’t know where else to really discuss this stuff and didn’t feel like being the “Newbie making new threads” so I just grabbed this one and started talking about it. I know Ghrrk just picked up photoshop last night so I think I’ll see what he can do with that. I really don’t want a big stick with tits on it, just pretty gorls. But yeah, I’m going to look for a higher res picture and keep scouting. Thanks for the tips again!

Looking to trade an xbox 360 HRAP se-ex stick (used only a couple of times, all seimitsu) for a ps2 sanwa stick. Any stick is preferred as long as it’s in good condition.
What if – We took the picture of Elisha from http://wallpapers.skins.be/elisha-cuthbert/elisha-cuthbert-1920x1200-34269.jpg and we moved her over to the left side so she’s just next to the stick, gave it a cool gray background (Not the month of March) and then put Radeo up on the top right so it would look natural that her head and other part of her body was being cut off? Thanks again for any help. Still apprehensive to make a thread to discuss stick art with my fellow northwestians.

HeavyD- You got first dibs. I really could ask 100+ easy for this stick being as how they don’t make em anymore. It’s a really solid stick. By solid I mean it weighs about 70 pounds lol. Nah, it’s quality. Just running out of room and IMO the buttons are a little close to the stick.
50 is a steal but I figure if someone in the community can use it, it’s just collecting dust here.
