Northwest trading: WTB sticks, WTS sticks

If anyone has a wired/corded xbox 360 controller that they’re not using, PM me.

You can just buy a wire for one. They don’t make them solidly wired. It’s better if you use it that way to, because it will stay charged.

I was just going to try it out for some PC games, and was hoping I could get one for cheap. 360 controllers are cross compatible with many PC games, and come in both corded and wireless varieties. Since most console players would obviously prefer to play with a wireless controller, I was wondering if someone had an extra corded one they randomly acquired through some means but had no current use for.

The wire just charges the battery pack though, it doesn’t actually connect it to the console.

Can someone hook me up with a dual mod install on my 360 TE?

^Paul I can do it for you, PM me about it.

Ditto here, but I think mr. Airthrow is a bit closer.

<Fuck Salem >< >

Since I “upgraded” to the SeattleVersus Stick, my old full-sanwa custom stick for the 360 is for sale. Pretty well used, but still in perfect working condition.

I put the square gate back in.

Most of you have seen it already, but I’ll put some pics up later today.

I’ll sell it for $50. Parts alone are probably worth that.

Elliot I will buy it, don’t let anyone else buy it.

Damn! Beat me to it! Well… next… dibs??:wonder:

No, no.

There are two kinds of controllers - wired controllers and wireless controllers.

The wireless controllers come with a charging cable, and you are right - the charging cable doesn’t connect it to the console, it merely allows it to charge.

But the wired controllers DO connect using their USB cord, and they CAN be used on your computer for playing games. But I hate that d-pad, which makes it kind of worthless for me. :frowning:

Word that is what I meant grant. Details are for bitches. LEAVE ME ALONE.

Oh, I’ll leave you alone, alright.
I’ll leave you alone… FOREVER.

anyone know a good repair spot for ps3 laser failures??? if not…

selling a PS3 TE, SF4, Disgaea 3, Soul Calibur 4, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, DragonBall Burst Limit, Blue-Ray/X-box/DvD lense cleaner/and the PS3 itself which still works for everything besides putting a disc in ;/

if you order a replacement laser/lens I’ll do it for a six pack. takes all of like 30 minutes.

How much for the TE Stick? Trying to get one for Play N Trade so that we can use it as a grand prize in a later tournament.

hey, does anybody know where to buy a good hori @? I have always played pad for Tekken, but the Gw setup has grown on me, and i like it.

It would have to be able to work on a 360 and PS3.

any ideas were to look?

i would probably want one of those tight custom lay-overs with A-king on it wearing a Seattle Versus shirt/hat

Just so you know, you should probably specify what kind of HORI you are looking for. Also, make note that Tekken 6 is having an exclusive bundle with it, with a wireless stick (that can’t really be used in any tournaments anywhere)

Arcade in a box? I don’t really know of any other places to look besides there and maybe Ebay.

You can get Hori sticks on Amazon, used or new. (but savings on used sticks there seems to be minimal/nonexistent)
They’ve even got the Real Arcade Pro. EX-SE (Seimitsu parts) up for pre-order, now, but it looks like it won’t ship for another month.
Though, if your heart is set on Seimitsu, it might take a month to get buttons from Lizardlick or whoever, anyway. Stock Hori parts are pretty decent, though.

Obviously that’s not going to work on BOTH systems without modding. So if you want a two-system stick, your options are probably to get it modded, or to go with something like Arcade in a box, as mentioned above. I have no experience with them, but I’m sure you can find some reviews on SRK in the tech talk section or something…

You could also buy Hori sticks from some place like play-asia, but the shipping will cost more, so I’m not sure why you’d do that. Amazon prices are reasonable and shipping is free, so unless you can find a deal or a used stick somewhere, that’s what I’d go. If you want a stock Hori, that is. $100 for the PS3 one, $130 for the 360 one, it looks like.

You talked about Hori sticks specifically, so I’m guessing you know what you want, but be aware that different sticks out there have different button layouts. Not only are there differences between TE sticks and Hori sticks, for example, but different models of Hori sticks sometimes have different layouts as well.
