whats up fellow indiana players. what all games do you guys play, 3rd strike anyone? i think we are going to have a tournament in downtown indy here in a couple of months. you guys should make it down. if anyone plays in lafayette i have family there and would like to play sometime while visiting.

We stay up as late as people want to keep playing, so if you get here late, then just get here. Let us know if you plan on coming on a certain night so we know to look out for you.
Indy to Hammond is quite a drive, though? Isn’t it? You should call off work on a Thursday and make it out for the whole night. Occasionally we have a mini-tourney if enough people show up.
We dabble in everything, so Third Strike is do-able. In fact, there’s a group of guys that sometimes comes that only plays Third Strike.
We have two TV’s running usually. One is HD for Wii, PS3, and MAME and the other is for PS2/DC games. Pretty much any non-super-obscure fighting game is available or can be made available very easily.
If you want to play DC/PS2 games with sticks, you’ll need to bring your own. I have one for DC, but it’s not great, two for PS3/PC, and two for Wii (TvC & Naruto).
On a side note, to everyone, we probably won’t be doing anything May 7th. Xagrand and I are both going to ACEN all weekend and might be leaving either super-early Friday or late Thursday night.
So Josh, you think they’ll have SF4 or BlazBlue machines at ACen? I’m hoping they do and I’m sure we’ll see you there at some point.

I’m fairly certain BlazBlue and Tekken 6 will be absent, but there’s a Street Fighter IV tournament (as well as a bunch of other stuff).

Sometime when I’m not working nights… I’m actually listening to your voicemail as we speak. I figured there would be some SFVI, but is it going to be console or arcade is the true question. Last year I know one side of the game room was a ton of arcade stuff.
@Barzaad: It’s the biggest anime convention in the midwest and like the third biggest in the country.

Most of the tournaments at ACEN will be console, just like always (PS3, XBox360, Wii has typically been the heirarchy). Tournaments, as they cost money, are RARELY run on arcade machines (with the exception of the DDR/ITG/Puzzle Fighter tournaments). I haven’t seen any other tournaments run on arcade machines. I’ve been to ACEN three years straight.
With that said, I’ll probably be at the DJ decks more often, and the game room less often (just like my previous few years), but maybe we’ll catch each other around (though if I’m in the game room, I’ll most likely be trying to play IIDX, not fighting games).
Well I have a car but no license. =/
I should get my license sometime in like 2 months or so.

Had to drop out of SC4, too.
3rd in TvC. Frankie’s and J1n’s Karas/Ryu teams are too good for my lowly Doronjo/Yatterman. Syxx got some footage of Loser’s Final and Grand Finals. My girlfriend taped Winner’s Final, too. Soon on Youtube: more videos of AuhsojSivart losing in TvC!!!
Not really a big anime fan, but I went to the Gundam panel. I have to say, it was really interesting and seemed very professional. The other panels I checked out were just led by fangirls who squealed at the sound of the name of their favorite characters.
