Just a reminder about the SFHD remix tourney. STANDARD ST rules; All characters are legal, 2/3 for regular matches; 3/5 for winners final and losers final, 4/7 for Grand finals. Will float people from same region or area where applicable (no one likes to travel to play the same old people). Will try to avoid double jeopardy when I can.

i’m sure this is like this for all tourneys, but just in case it isnt, can we make sure that we get to play people from other regions? if i drive 6 hours to play CMX first round in anything, i’m gonna be pissed.

Yeah I don’t know why people are pre regging for teams. It’s not really explained but there’s really no reason to pre reg for a team tournament. It’s always one of the tournament players that ends up running the team brackets for most games and 90 percent of the people on the forum know there’s no point in pre regging for something that’s not really being tallied up. Everyone picks a team the day of the tournament or puts their name in a hat and gets picked for a random tourney.
I understand that this is not really my business but I wouldn’t get all worried about who you have to fight in a team tournament. Team tourneys are for fun and if you’re gonna lose in a team tourney…oh well. You gotta be ready for what a team tournament could bring you. If I had to fight a team of Justin, Smoothcat and ComboFiend first round in a team tournament then I would just do it. I’m not going to argue about a team tourney. If you’re worried about playing a team of your nearby tourney goers…then just explain to the bracket maker at the tournament that you don’t wanna fight that team first if you are scheduled to. There can’t be that many other tourney goers from the same region as you so they shouldn’t be up in arms over helping u out.
Overall though just have a good time. Try to get a lot of casuals in before if you’re that afraid of losing so you’ll have more game time in. Complaining about singles makes more sense since you’re paying more money to enter and you don’t have any potentially strong team mates backing you up. Which if you’re direct but polite about any issues with the bracket making during the tourney you’ll have a much better chance of getting accommodated for.

Eric, take me out of Mvc2, low tier, and soul calibur 4 please. I never wanted to enter those games… And bryheem said he isn’t entering mvc2 from what he told me. I’m debating about SF4… I don’t have a ps2 mas stick to play on. Someone said you can bring ps2 controllers to hook up to the setup sf4 setup. Speaking of which… I may have to start learning how to play on jap sticks because the perect 360 mas stick for xbox 360 costs way too much.
