I agree, I just think noobs would be better served if the one set-up that’s gonna be there isn’t being used for a monster two day tournament that they are only gonna play ~3 matches in.
But I’m not running this, so it really doesn’t matter what I think…
whoever runs the sf4 tournament, if you’re gonna seed, nestor, justin, joe and marn are probably the 4 to put in different areas.
if its gonna be like, invitational, seeding by area would be nice =)
Well my idea would be to allocate a certain number of spots to each area that actually has the game. They nominate whoever they want to represent them, and that’s it.
There would also be some “at large” bids.
This way people can see higher level play in the tournament, but they’d actually be able to play casuals during the weekend too.
Just an idea.

with someone leaving with a good deal of money
i think they should just run the tourney and if people want to play casual reserve a few hours saturday morning for that before shit pops off
