Hah…I’m not sure that’s gonna work out. If 3S keeps pulling 50 + people every year it’s just gonna take too long to get things started. Serious business before fun I say. If the team tournament doesn’t have time to start on Saturday…oh well. At least that way we got the real shit out of the way first and we’re not holding people’s schedules up with an important singles event that probably won’t finish on the same day with all the games happening this year.
Either that or people will just have to get used to 3S still being played at 1 o clock in the morning like what happened 2 years ago. Last year wasn’t a whole lot better with people trying to push singles right after teams and we didn’t even get halfway done before it was 12 to 1 o clock ish. Actually…it was worse because teams didn’t even get done till like 9 o clock. At least 3S was completely finished 2 years ago on Sat. I say get the real shit done first…then give everyone a chance to casual it up for the night and get sleep. Then Sunday we can do teams if it’s workable.
The tournament is not going to get run that fast…it’s just not gonna happen. TV’s will be left by themselves doing nothing, people will go out to eat…things will happen. I’m not a big fan of super late running tournaments but if that’s what people wanna do this year it’s whatever. I’m just a bitch for sleep and I know things aren’t going to magically run any faster this year. Trying to run teams and singles and getting them both done on the same day in a reasonable time (like before 11 or 12 o clock) is just unfeasible.
