Trying to get a Tatsunoko stick modded for PS3/360/PC use. I was also thinking of getting the artwork changed to make it easier to discern. Not sure how that whole thing works, so it’s up in the air on that area. Thanks for asking…I was beginning to think I was getting ignored.

Glad to hear you’re joining the scene. Just got into it myself and had a grand time. Unfortunately due to SoCal Regionals, the next one’s not being held until January.
I was gonna stay with Mike Ross but I think Sherry wanted me to stay with her, either way tho I might be able to find you a spot.
You don’t need us to mod if you are going to use an Adapter.
The Adapter is an external device.
It does not get put inside.
Laugh.
But the Adapter is not the choice for you.
It will only allow for the TvC Stick to work PlayStation 3.
PlayStation 3 works because it takes generic USB Devices.
Xbox 360 will not work, because there needs to be a Microsoft Security Chip.
What you want us to do is install a PlayStation 3 Controller PCB inside.
And also have us install an Xbox 360 Controller PCB inside.
We will make it Automatic Detection of both consoles.
So just plug and play without any switches to press.
You should know that parts alone is $65.
And make that double for having two TvC Sticks.
Now now…go a little easy on me. ;p I’ve only seen modded sticks twice now including OFC. The first time was when I went to EVO while they held it around Comic-Con. I still think it’s crazy that a guy had a big ol’ wooden block as a controller. It had keyboard arrows when I saw it…didn’t get a look at the rest.
Good to know that the adapter would work w/the PS3. That gives me a better idea of what to do. I will get the adapter for one of 'em…that one’ll be more for home usage or possibly PS3 systems @ OFC. The other one, which I’d get fully modded the way aforementioned by you, would be used in tourneys, any system @ OFC or w/ever other use it may have. ;p
So aside from the parts cost, what would the labor cost?
Honestly just save up the money and get a new stick. Then dual mod it… nuff said…
I’ve already got 2 sticks, so I don’t think I’d need a 3rd. So when would be the soonest I’d be able to get one of the sticks modded? I know RL gets in the way, so just let me know. I’d like to have it ASAP, but I’m a patient person plus I can do pretty well on the pad. I’m pretty sure I won’t make SCR, so I’m in no big rush. After all…next OFC isn’t until January.
I am thinking of getting them both fully modded, but for now I’m settling for one since my budget is low and my mom’s already getting on my case as is for the purchases I’ve been doing since I do owe her for purchases such as the laptop I’m using and the slim PS3–kinda ironic on that one since I paid for a fat one awhile back and then it YLOD’d. 
I’m in the process of getting another job through the San Marcos Regional Center…thankfully my condition’s good for something–got approved through there, so they’ll help me in my plight. My dad’s been helping me get to the meetings.

:wow: Wow… I came to check out the Pacific South threads and saw that O-side and Vista has a thread now? Crazy… about damn time. I lived in Oside/Vista from 05-09 before moving to Texas. I use to run the Vista GameStop across the Krikorian. Nice to see that the community has grown.
