The stream I could definitely agree with. Chatbox might be a bit much though considering if there are lots of peeps on the site @ the same time it could cause some slowdown which isn’t really needed.
I can do both easily… I will make a stream page for the site.

the video on the site is a great idea just I’d delegate it to it’s own page. maybe the chat box could be on the home page but having the video HAVING to load when it doesn’t need to is bad usability. Not to mention if you have one of those random moments where flash decides to crash then hangs up your browser. I say add a loud menu option that either shows up RED (maybe pulsing) when you are live and greyed out when not…
I’m a web developer by trade so I’m always about making sites load as fast as possible. Let me know Ed if you need help. When I see you saturday I’m gonna show you a few logos. Messing with ideas of what came make the site really pop.

I really wish that I had this stuff 8 years ago when I started running a computer clan… I spent more time on the site then playing… the OFC in its current form took about an hour and thats while learning to keep it seperate from my clan site.
would love to see the logos… I havent touched photoshop since my laptop screen died and havent put it on my DT yet so I am just using stock stuff…lol
I will show you the admin stuff and can make you an admin if you want to as well… I would think its a little beneith your skillset cause its even easier than a PHP site cause its ALL automated (but very very configurable!)
All in all I am very happy that it works well, looks decent, and doesnt take up all my time… myfocus of the OFC is the OFC meets

What time you get off MGM?
I’ll be off around 4:30 p.m. The only reason I don’t give a more accurate time is because the cleanup takes a little while to finish up. I hand out samples at Wal-Mart and the one that was assigned to me for that day is one I’ve already done before that’s pretty easy, so I should be able to clean up pretty quickly.
Ed I’ll bring my PS3 but I don’t have a monitor. Anything else I could bring though just let me know.

Also Crayons needs a ride like always. Gas can be provided if needed. I need a ride every meet up honestly because I currently don’t have a vehicle. I live about 10 minutes from Ed’s house if it makes the person picking me up feel any better. hahah
Heh…glad to see I’m not the only one begging for a ride on here. ;p Ed did tell me that before, but it always makes me feel better actually seeing it happen. xD
I don’t have a vehicle of my own either, but the simple truth of it is that the DMV has declared me as unsafe to drive due to a med condition I have which is why I need rides most everywhere.

hey ed. i know its been a while i didnt get to attend the last OFC
because we had our league finale…i was wondering if a couple of friends and i could
come out to OFC tomorrow night. one guy is living in oceanside and has never experienced
a casual scene. i was hoping to bring him to OFC because of the fun, friendly, chill
atmosphere. let me know if its cool.
also, if i can find a camera, i would like to do a short interview with you
for my segment on the box arena show. of local places to play in san diego.
we are having a UMVC3 tournament in december if anyone from OFC wants to come
out and compete, or just watch some good matches go down. if not we will be streaming
it.
