I just want to say that I had a blast this weekend and It was one of the greatest experiences in my Life, I have alot of shout outs to give out.
First is to Eric ofcourse for having held such a phenominal event:woot: and doing an excellent job running it. Also special thanks to the guy running the HD Remix tourney. Great job.

Damdai - Awesome match in the finals man, and It was a pleasure to meet you too. Definitly hope to play you and see you again at evo. I hope World Warrior League will be sick this season, and maybe my luck pays off and I can actually stop the sim lol. Always a pleasure.
Thelo - It was very nice to meet and play one of the best hondas I know. Very nice fellow. Hopefully next time you me and kevgeez can get some food without rushing to head back to the event lol. We had epic matches all day long man. Awesome stuff. Have a safe trip back.
Corosive and Krost - Very Fun to talk with you guys man. Remember Corosive Its all about patience with the Family Man lol. But Honestly, I’d say we are about even, if not you being a little more patient then me which is exactly what Guile needs, which is better lol. Great Job Man and Awesome Mirror matches. Krost also has a really good ken and chun I may add lol. Very GGS. Hopefully we meet again soon.
Chris Doyle - Great to meet and play you man. Those matches were so intense man. Awesome matches and hope to see you again. Legend of Chun li lol.
Ganelon - The Claw!! lol. Great Match in the Winner’s Semis man. That might have been my favorite match I have played that day, but It was great to meet you man. Hope to see you again. Also Great Job in the Grand Finals against Damdai, Sick Fight.
Steve Doyle(I think thats his first name)- Didnt say much, but that ryu is dangerous lol. Great Match in teams.
Paul Wall - Great Matches in Team losers and in Losers in HDR. Sorry I had to let that outburst out man,I felt super relived lol. That bison was killing me lol so again my apologizes. Great Games again.

Yo NEC was definitely the best tournament I’ve been to since I started going to tournaments, and by saying that i mean it was better than the first tournament feeling from when i was 15, that weird adrenaline rush thats unexplainable.

Anyway, I left the tournament and worked 11-7 nightshift, time to have a drank and sleep. Tournament was too good to miss, and was worthy of this long ass shout out post.

I enjoyed watching the tournie on the stream, it was good stream minus the part where I had to stare at Sagat’s win pose for 45 minutes as Seb desperatly tried to get a match on the stream lol.
But I was pissed at how Darksydephil’s fans were spamming and causing quite a mess in the chat stream. Yelling and tauting Seb and the mods, they have no respect and are exactly what is wrong with his fanbase. Nothing agaisnt DSP here but damn, I wish he would of not told them he was going to this event, they fucking asked for him to commentate and play on the stream every other minute…

I had fun even though there were only 16 of us for Marvel. This was the first time I played serious Marvel at a tourney, and of course got my ass kicked, but I had a ton of fun. I think I might have been the only ‘new’ player, and the only person NOT from New York, :lol: Thanks to all the marvel players that were in 503, and down in the tourney room again showing a newer player what was what. I didn’t catch your name, but the guy who was showing me how to play as sentinel vs magneto, thanks again, and my girlfriend thought it was hilarious that you ‘yelled at her’ about marvel. Good Shit.

aside from the obvious stuff that can’t be helped, my only complaint is the PS3 standard for SF4. Maybe it’s just me and the couple of people I talked to about it, but the game just seems to run better/smoother on 360 than on PS3, not to mention the game can be installed to eliminate the ridiculous load times you see on the PS3.

First major I ever went to and loved every second of it. Sucks that I got knocked out too early to play any of the top players. Still, I had way too much fun to even notice that until I left. Can’t wait for the next major. Don’t forget to vote SF4 for the best fighting game of the year.
