I don’t get people’s gripes with the Hornet Assist. I played a lot of people who used it and it didn’t bother me at all.

i dont have much input to put into the recent Jon blast, but all i gotta say is KoF is good and TTT2 is coming soon. i cant wait to feel somewhat relevant in something again lol.

and for the guys i was talking to the other night about displays. if im correct (and i fact checked this so i hope so) 2ms is the standard for lagless monitors, thats what all the EVO ones are. 3ms-5ms gives SLIGHT lag but with use of native resolution and available game modes coupled with a decent mhz rate (240 and up) that slight lag is supposed to be almost non-existent. anything above 5ms is a waste of time though. the problem with most larger screens (with the exception of plasma) is that the response time usually sits in the 8ms range and they usually are 60hz-120hz, which is pretty much unplayable. but the newer LED televisions have started getting it right. well here is the screen that i bought that you guys think is a myth.

under 5ms response. 240hz refresh rate. i havent experienced any instances of lag yet. im not saying this is better than an ASUS or any other brand, but i know some people want a nice size television in their living room to entertain on that is also nice to play games on as well. i wouldnt have bought it if i hadnt done tons of research beforehand. when it comes to price and functionality its great. i can keep talking about it, but i guess all thats left is for you guys to come over and test it out.

But that’s MY TV. And my TV lags lol. 5ms is definitely enough to be noticeable for some people. Guess I still gotta shoot for Brents =(
You’re probably right. I didn’t like the stuff in Marvel at first but eventually I just learned to accept it as bullshit when it happened and not worry about it. I do have a lot of fun playing when I’m not fighting painwheel or ms fortune, the neutral game is a blast. Maybe if I give it time I’ll learn to tolerate the bad aspects of it.

Tierless Heroes home of the Wednesday Brawls has some news!!!
We have been talking to a few KOF players in regards of a few ideas concerning WNB KOF tourneys, and their input is 100% positive. The only factor that most players seem to want to change is the KOF entry fee, from $5.00 to $10.00, making this tourneys a whole lot more competitive, serious, with more money on the line, and with the main drive to get other hardcore KOF players to compete to get that 1st Place Prize Pot.
So far we have talked to a few regulars and we want to know what the KOF crowd wants to do. Would you like to change the entry fee to $10.00??? If you are in favor or against this then let us know, this is not a final decision and it may or may not change at all depending on what the majority of the community wants.
Let us know your thoughts on this guys.
Jon i promise you, thats NOT your TV. your dimensions are much bigger than that. your television is much thicker than this one. the razor led just released late last year. we can go tit for tat but ive seen yours and we definitely do not own the same television. do you know ur exact model number?
like i said they just introduced this line when i bought mine arond january. its not a big deal but i bet $100 thata not your tv. either way, i still have my crt and another 32.
Hmm maybe so, it just has the same specs as mine, and from the pic looks the same. I don’t know the model number anymore… I think I got this maybe a year and a half ago?
Either way mine was 1200 when I got it so it’d make sense that the same TV would be a bit cheaper now. I remember them saying it had 5ms delay as well. But ehh, if it works for you it works for you.
I would not mind more prize money every week so yeah. 10 dollars is cool.
