Thanks to everyone who has been by for KOF so far. I’m still busy, but starting to put some decent time into the home release. Flame Iori DLC including character, stage, and music is up on XBL now and will supposedly be on PSN at 5 EST.

I don’t see why he shouldn’t be, i’m not a KoFer but if people are going to allow the stuff that was in the Arcade release and looking at what the arcade release did have I don’t see why Flame Iori is any worse than Raiden/K’. Unless you or someone can prove to me that he’s above Yun level for AE or above K’/Raiden from the arcade version then I dunno. It was the same when people wanted to say Saiki and Billy won’t be tournament legal but look who won NEC (Saiki).
I see this bullshit killing the game…but it is what it is. I will have all the DLC regardless.
The reasons for tournament legality don’t always have to do with how strong a character is.
I don’t really care if Flaming Iori is good or not; it’s a pain in the ass for tournament organizers to ensure that every system used in a tournament has an extraneous $5 DLC character, and I think the DLC characters therefore ought to be banned simply out of convenience for tournament logistics.
Besides, it’s not like Kyo, Iori, and Takuma aren’t ALREADY IN THE GAME. I don’t see the point of making tournament organizers pay another $15 and jump through hoops at major tournaments because of fucking whiny fanboy scrubs who can’t play with their boytoys unless they have rekkas.
This game is going to be killed by other things besides DLC chars. Personally, the lack of ability to learn this game without traveling is what is turning me off right now.
I’d say legalize personally, though maybe not until 2 weeks after they’re out.
I’m assuming you hate BB then which requires you to buy 3 dlc characters that cost 3 dollars more than any KoF character.
