Yeah, I hate fighting teams built around zoning and characters with swords. I feel that Dormammu handles both cases better than Wesker. Dorm has the mobility to get in against zoning based teams especially when backed up by Doom assist and has the tools to keep those stupid sword characters out. Although flame carpet is nerfed it still keeps those teleport happy sword wielders honest and j.H/S can contend with the retarded hit boxes on their normals.
Dorm has like no reason to zone anymore. Zoning consists of throwing a finger shot and then teleporting at them lol. His mixups are so fucking goooooood now.
If Wesker wasn’t the best character I’d put Dorm in the spot for next in line. Course he can zone, it’s a little harder now without flame carpet insurance but he can do it. Just, rarely gets a chance to with all the teleport characters. I don’t like taking the risk zoning and leaving myself open when I can just as easily tri-dash my way into profit. If they block it just flame carpet, call an assist and do it again.
Just spent like 2 hours in the lab with Strider and got some really reliable combos for him. His damage still makes me really sad though, I’m not even sure if he can break 600k in the land of practicality (without ragnarok of course). Most I can get with ragnarok is like 850… sad life.
Zero vs Wesker, that shit sucks for both of them honestly. Zero can’t get in for shit and Wesker can’t do what he wants to at all. That match really just feels like a slow push to the corner, where Zero can put the rape on. If wesker lands some random huge sword like normal out of no where or an assist call covered by gun, then Zero’s gone too though so it’s really gay for both of them.

Strider can break 600k by himself without using Ragnarok, provided you have a Formation B (drone/satellite/whatever) summoned before you start the combo. Like many of the good things in Marvel that people never seem to talk about, it’s in the guide.
I completely lose track of time whenever I get into training mode in KOF XIII. I don’t know what it is about that game.

Oh yeah, I am starting KOF XIII first so If you are playing in KOF I need you to be there ON TIME. That game runs slow as shit and this being the first KOF tourney there will be a large turn out. Reminds me of CvS2 days.

Wanted to see if anyone is interested in getting some felt for the bottom of their stick. It makes the stick sit still in your lap. Anyone who has used a stick that has this will contest to how good it is. I have found a place that sells sticky felt. You just peel and place it where you need it. I have ordered 12 of them and am giving them out to the guys at the Bar Fights for Christmas and was wondering if anyone was wanting to buy one for a couple bucks.
If you do then I will have them at the ReSe for you to pick them up. If I get enough people wanting some then I will order a long ass roll and cut it off as needed
To be fair it only takes like 30 minutes at most to unlock both of the KOF unlocks. Does anyone know how to unlock more colors for customization mode?
Your right. It’s not that bad but you know some of the games are crazy with it. Custom color unlocks are done just by playing. I got a bunch when I played online.
When is KOF starting? Not before 2pm?
I got too mad playing online when my only game online involved a guy jumping in and sweeping me I blocked the first and got hit by the sweep because wow lag, so I’m holding crouch block and I get overheaded on wakeup and I block it because the game is still reading my input from when he jumped in… 
. Basically it was awful and wasn’t the same game at all, it would be better to just play against computers at least it seems.

I know how you feel. I was playing online and it seems that crouching short is gdlk. I am trying to learn KOF for the first time and online is not the way to go, at all. If I could play someone in my own city on the same network then that might be ok but nothing else.
It is there for people who can not make the drive out there. Having driving options is a good thing with the economy an such. Also i hope that people are extending knowledge and friendship to the Charlotte scene as well. Turnout quality is vastly more important than quantity if your long term goal is to strengthen your specific area.
You unlock custom colors by playing versus, either online or offline. You can play the CPU in versus if you like. You unlock five new colors for every ten matches you play with a character, so it takes about forty matches total to unlock all the colors for a character.

I pretty much agree to this. I’m going to Charlotte mostly cause Brian asked me personally and it being the first KoF tourney and meeting with family up there for Christmas stuff anyway. The gamefrog tournaments are nice being in RDU since I only have to spend 5 dollars gas to get there and the experience is usually pretty good anyway for the most part. Definitely in support of what Charlottes got goin since i’ll be moving down there in a few years anyway.
