You think so? I figure he need an assist so it can set him up for mix up or when he want to wall climb to places

He can set up his own mixups. IMO I’d think doom beam / shuma eye laser would be best.

Got my Dr. Strange BNB down, 800k day 1, 1.1 mil if I wanna use a level 3. Prepare to hear a lot of MYSTIC SWORD IMPACT PALM MYSTIC SWORD IMPACT PALM IMPACT PALM IMPACT PALM…

This umvc3 game still whack. Blazblue so much better!

I guess, if you like bad games and all, Blazblue is better at being worse.

This is my first time but.

No Jon.

Of course I don’t really have any beef with either game. I can respect them for what they have.

I do stick art in case anyone wants one.

Hell, even I respect Blazblue now. I won’t play it right now, but the CS2 changes made it a good game.

Jon no one cares about your strange combo

Damn, dude’s got some guts. I couldn’t do that.

GameStop is not going to do a launch for this game.

Denjin mode is pretty awesome. Honestly, it’s a safe hit confirm after overhead>donkey kick, and if you hit with it, you get to do the denjin loop anywhere on screen. I’m not sure why the hell you’d wavedash with ryu anyways, tbh. His zoning got WAY stronger, and you don’t need to dash with him to get in when you have stuff that makes the opponent want to come to you, like tk explodywallbouncestupidball ™.

Denjin loop into donkey kick and wavedash to combo on? Or don’t work together?

wave dashing is how I play footsies in marvel. I use wave dashing to move in and out of my effective poking ranges. Ryu had great normals in vanilla but lacked the mobility to position himself, so I was happy to find out that his dash was cancleable then immediately disappointed to find out his new hyper is a down>down motion.

You could be right though with saying that Ryu doesn’t have to get in, but I still hate the whole losing life in denjin mode thing.

You use your wallbounce on the first donkey kick>denjin. Then wavedash over and loop twice, then end however you want (I like medium dragon>Hurricane super).

The other thing about wavedashing with Ryu (and Wolverine, for that matter) is that you rarely, if ever, want to do it more than once. It’s not so much that he doesn’t have to get in, it’s that he’s not going to do it by flinging himself towards the opponent. Doing 1 wavedash covers enough ground to put him in the range where he can do stuff like jumping A tatsu with assists and shit. He’s not the type of character that can just bulldog in and mixup.

I think I’m doing a bit too much. Trying to learn UMVC3, Mortal Kombat, 3S, and BlazBlue. My brain is falling apart here. I’m literally trying to do marvel combos in Mortal Kombat, holding the block button in 3S, Drive attacks in marvel, and parrying in BlazBlue. FAAACK! Hey, I can still beat people in 4 though!

Edit: I just forgot about KoF13, when does that even come out? I’m gonna lose so bad when I start playing that game. Too many fighting games coming out at one time.

Yo Old Man, what time do you think you’re gonna start hosting Wednesday? I’m open to whenever. Now back to Horde.

Yeah, I’m starting to feel like that and haven’t even opened my copy yet. Too afraid its gonna feel like the same even after getting the update, so overall debating if I just want to take it back and get something else like Sonic Generations. I feel like I’ve been avoiding single player games too much lately. I know, MEGAMAN X COLLECTION. Lets go.

…I knew id forget how to play Marvel three

So yeah, Ultimate is pretty cool. Strider looks really strong, but I need to put in some serious training mode time for his combos. Vergil feels awkward, but also seems strong, got that easymode damage going on. Dante doesn’t feel that different, my old BnB with him still works too. Probably won’t notice any huge differences until I get into matches with him.

Does anyone know what show Demarcus was on? I know it was CC, but I don’t know which one.

Never mind, I found it.
