Us arcana players were pretty hardcore when it came to practicing and getting time in. Brandino drove from Goldsboro and I drove in after getting off work through the rain just because those two were already heading down.

This…I live in columbus county which is pretty close to both myrtle beach and the beaches around Wilmington. I’ve seen worse than this.
As someone who has forecasted weather: I can say this: the last thing you want in a hurricane is big and slow.
That’s what made Katrina so devastating. (Irene is no Katrina though, and it is moving faster, east coast hurricanes do tend to move faster)
The Gulf Coast’s continental shelf is also much shallower than the East Coast’s, which resulted in a MASSIVE storm surge and is also a major contributing factor in why Katrina was so devastating.

why does everyone want to play Makoto?
Well I was playing some Alex, but Will was all like “play Makoto she’s a better grappler”

Cause they want to play a top tier, but they don’t want to play THE top tier like Chun, Ken is like Ryu in moveset and people get confused because they try to play him like 2 or 4 and it doesn’t work at all. Yun looks like alot of work and stuff and is the “best” in the game. So all that leaves is Makoto and maybe Dudley.
Also everyone loves instant death resets.
Makoto is hype. Believe it. Simple and brutally effective, with plenty of room for your own twist on her style.
