Square gates feel weird to me, I’m always jumping and doing other random shit I don’t want to. I’d really like to try an octagonal gate if I was gonna learn stick.
Also what’s the difference between Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons?
I tried the double spring mod, and felt it was too tight, so I took out the second spring, and just pulled on the first one, this will also make the stick tighter, but to the extent of the double spring. Having that said, sometimes you’ll play on another stick and it will feel “too loose”. Happened to me in a session down here in Charleston two days ago.You might be able to play on them, but it might be bothersome.
I’ll say this regarding gates. As strange as it seems to those who aren’t accustomed to it, the square gate gives you much more control than the octagonal does. Having used both, the square took a while to get accustomed to, but you feel much more freedom when using one. The octagon gets in the way more than it should, considering its goal.
Guess I’ll take you guys word for it then since EVERYONE is saying that. Makes no sense at all though lol
Sanwa buttons are more sensitive, Seimitsu buttons are more durable. Shooter fans like Seimitsu’s because you can pound the hell out of them and they still work. Fighting fans like Sanwa’s because they activate quicker (less button lag and all that).

Short version: octagonal pronounces up, down, left, and right, and reduces the contact area of the diagonals. Plus as the switches wear out the contact area becomes much smaller much quicker. Square gate gives equal contact area to all directions (and neutral, which is more important than you think).
What I’ve heard about Seimitsu for fighting games is that a bunch of people say they want a more sensitive stick, install a Seimitsu and its too sensitive.
Maybe its different in NC or maybe just you, but typically when people want to “run it back” they just ask if its cool if they run it back. What you and Brent did was basically giving me the middle finger and saying you’re gonna play regardless I have next or not. I asked if I could get next where OJ and Blake were playing in the corner and they told me that they were doing the best out of 50 or something and I said “That’s cool.” When I lost in AH3 and asked Brandino (if I spelled it correctly) if I could play another match when he had called next before hand he said that it was okay. If you ask people usually are cool with it and don’t mind unless they are being a dick, which more than likely means the person is being a dick for attention reasons. You still won’t man up to what you did and keep making excuses for your actions, which is what upsets me. What happened then is nothing to hold a grudge against someone for, but to constantly keep wanting to put the full blame on someone else is lower than low. It case you didn’t know what you did was disrespectful and not cool on any level. Have a great day sir.

If I beat John Doe 100 straight games and then someone calls next and I lose the next two, tough shit for me. If I am currently in a rotation and I maybe win the first set and then the guy lets us play a second set but I lose that one, sure. I stay cause I won the initial set. But when it’s just a bunch of games with no one jumping in and THEN someone calls it, you lose you leave.
