Session as Johns was fun last night. BBCS2 was a lot of fun, marvel was … marvel and brawl was easily the highlight.

About the traveling thing - I’m all for getting better and improving, I’d love to travel. Lets organize a carpool and make it happen.
I also think a NC vs SC tournament would be fun and if others are into it, would love to try to get something like that to happen. I mean, obviously we are the better carolina but are they aware of it?
They are pretty good down there actually, but I think we could go rough them up.
Also about Friday - Sat with going down to play… I’d really like to get a good night sleep before the tournament so is there any chance we can work that out? I probably just wanna get some rest on friday but if you’re going down there for games, that might make it inconvenient for you lol

Well TBH I’d rather just stay in Raleigh, I really don’t sleep well on couch’s / floors and what not.
Good rest goes a long way as far as tournament performance goes.

Somewhat relevant for elite zone tournament goers I guess but in the end not too much.
If y’all get like 15 players from the Triangle down to EZ on Friday like y’all did before then y’all can just split on a room for the night, it would be very cheap to split 2 rooms with 4 beds and 2 couches each for a single night between 15 people (only 5 or less people on the floor). Especially since it isn’t a holiday or traveling season yet, and you wouldn’t need a high class hotel. As for me I’m not gonna stay all night at EZ on Friday since I’ll have to be there at 11AM the next day and I like having a good nights sleep before the tournament.
That involves uncomfortably sleeping in a room full of gamers lol
Aaron will be in top 3, probably higher. You keep sleeping on James and you’re gonna be sad.

First off, Matt Frank doesn’t have a dog.
Second off, if he did Matt Frank’s dog would probably take 4th, after Matt/James/Aaron.
Third off, I don’t have a problem with Matt Frank’s bias based on where it’s coming from. But at least when he has put himself in the top 3 of any game ever at anytime, he has some results to somewhat substantiate it.

Yeah but saying the good players are going to win at X tournament from your area when you haven’t really played anyone else is a bit silly. Maybe after this tournament though.

Hey, that’s just disrespectful. Jon had a gathering last night with something like 8 guys. The way you post sounds like we owe you something. Nobody in the community HAS to host on a set schedule every week. It’s their property, their setups, and ultimately their time and money. You can’t place demands on the courtesy of others, especially not when contributing yourself.
edit: Actually, I think this stems from you viewing the community/games in a way differently than most people do. I imagine you’re seeing a lack of dedication from your perspective, as the sessions should be serious training as if for a common sport. I get that, but it just doesn’t work that way for us. The place in life that so many of us are in, with schedule and money constraints make it hard for most to commit to hosting, and those that try often get burnt out on it. We’re actually doing better with hosting gatherings now than we ever were in the past, honestly.
