I’m trying to get into the NC scene, since some guy on JTV told me about the tourny that happened this weekend. Can I get more information on carpools and what games you primarily play.

We may skip a June EZ tournament because all of the available Saturdays seem occupied:
June 4th- Too soon, we like giving a good 3 weeks notice for players to call off of work properly.
June 11th- CEO
June 18th- Lucky’s
June 25th- ECT3
So we may just go ahead and plan for a July one. Only reasonable date would be the 25th cause I don’t think too many NC players are going to ECT3, but I could be wrong. Also players may not even be able to take two Saturdays off in a row for Lucky’s and EZ in the same month.
Do we have a lot of people that work on saturdays regularly?
Either way we’ll have a “big” tournament next month so it’s not big deal whether its at Luckys or EZ.

For Raleigh people: Just got back from the Grove Barton Target. they have an MvC3 SE (tin case) for $35 for Xbox, they also have a copy of Super (ps3) for $20. Also, in case anyone is interested, Xbox DJ Hero (1) with turntable for $25.

I noticed somethings are missing from the new SRK layout:
- Upcoming streams and tournaments are no longer listed on the front page.
- You can no longer edit thread titles after they’ve been made.
If I’m wrong and both of those features are still available then please inform me.
They also took away our ability to use huge flashy sigs. What the fuck, I only had it for like 2 hours! T_T
They aren’t here right now. But being as the media page still isnt’ up, hopefully they will be coming back soon. The upcoming events tab in the navigation links to the upcoming events forum but I don’t see the calendar anywhere.
yeah i noticed it too and it’s kind of made me sad. thankfully i follow most of the streams so i get noticed in gmail
Maybe it was me? I remember talking to someone about tournaments and stuff on an Arcana 3 stream chat.
We play just about everything (MvC3, SF4, Arcana, MK, and Tekken has been revived in NC as well). As for carpooling, the first post has info on gatherings and tournaments by region, so you’d prolly wanna talk to who ever’s going to those gatherings/tournaments…
