I never said it was the genre’s last best hope- just mine. The way I look at it, with all the positive hype SF4 is getting, if I find the game to suck- I’m just not going to like new FG’s no matter what, so I should just stop.
As for CvS3- I wish they’d not make it such a mashup- make it a coherent crossover game, but that’s mostly because I’d want to see obscure Real Bout chars in there like Sokaku and Hon-Fu.
I don’t pledge loyalty to Nvidia or ATi. I will play both sides of the fence, if need be. Whoever has the best product for the money at the time, and competition has been pretty good lately.
Intel however, yes. I’ve come to the dark side entirely, when it comes to CPU’s. AMD chips are just flat-out inferior in terms of performance and design. They probably always will be.

–Instead of banning broken/godtier characters, Japan is banning the two worst characters in the game. Interesting trend.
–Instead of promoting how lower tier characters can win, theory fighters are spending all their time trying to promote why the god-tier characters suck, and lose easily to a simple formula.
–Instead of top players shitting on scrubs, we have scrubs shitting on top players.
–Instead of 2nd place being an accomplishment, it means you fail. True winners sit at home and critique YouTube videos.
–The real version is on the Wii. Not on arcade hardware.
–Instead of qualifying for EVO finals by being a good player, you can qualify just by being friends with the directors, playing a shitty character no one else will use, or just by being “fun and interesting”. Totally arbitrary pre-requisites FTW!

360 i placed 5th at the goldsboro tourney, i obvioulsy cant fight vader, he is the first of his kind to play like a big character that has slow strikes with alot of his moves low risk. It seems also that several of his moves are + on block combined with deceptive blockstun he is alot better than people give him credit
