Can’t do 360 to anything, or really anything to 360. Microsoft’s proprietary software insures that. PS3 on the other hand will take damn near anything.
Well, you could do 360 if sticks were provided. With the TE sticks being around now, I do think that’s less of an excuse now. You’d be flying in the face of tradition, so that should only be done if the PS3 is an inferior port for some reason (which I don’t think will happen)
Personally, I think that providing 2 sticks standard for every console, no custom controllers is the way major tournies should go, in order to make it fair and prevent theft- as quite honestly, too many people get their shit jacked. Just ban people from bringing any controllers/consoles in or out unless it’s pre-arranged (like Dreamcasts for Marvel, etc)
This may not be feasible costwise, but it’s the best solution.
So you’ll be the first person willing to donate $600-1000 worth of hardware for a tournament then.

i just want to be the first to report that cgs in goldsboro this year was really enjoyable, sc4 was freaking epic. THIS GAME IS FAR FROM DEAD!!! ggs to purified and ribu( vader is still gay to me but u played well) ice ninja and angus repped it in the 2d games too. Overall a real fun day

CGS was fun, even if the 128 man Brawl tournament took like 8 bazillion hours. I’m glad I won it considering the assholes wouldn’t let me enter any other games.
But yeah it wasn’t so bad this year, and we all got to leave with medals and shit. Shaun had like 50 around his neck, dude had more gold than Mr.T.

CGS was mad fun especially the GG and 3S tourney. I really did better than I expected to especially with Ibuki of all characters 
. It was really cool meeting some of the NC players that showed up today and can’t wait to see you guys again at Lucky’s.
I was thinking, maybe on the 17th (Tuesday) we should have something local in the Triad- in prep for SFIV. I know that shit is getting midnight released so we’ll either have it, or will be up until then.
Yeah Goldsboro was actually pretty nice. In Calibur I was “Purified Soul” lol
A good number of our players showed up thank goodness. We had Blake, Jon, Ribu, Angus, Shaun Cosby, Ribu, Brandino, Austin, Priest, etc…so GG and SC felt like real tournaments. If somebody knows the results, do post them since I don’t know if that guy that ran it will. All I’m sure of is that Blake snuck in and took Ribu’s name and snatched GG away from me (him first, me second) and Shaun probably won all the capcom. Jon won Smash. Ando won SC4.
I got in late for CvS, but they gave me some other dude’s name that didn’t show like “Gordero” and put me in losers and I made it all the way to Shaun lol, good shit. I like that game.
edit: yeah, go Jon. Even if most of them were scrubs, that’s a LOT of Smash players.
