Really nice to meet those that I caught up with at NCR this weekend and GGs to everyone I played. The shmupmame setup was actually really nice. A shame we couldn’t get the supergun going in the hotel but maybe next time. Looking forward to catching up with anyone that makes it to the ST Games qualifiers at Super Arcade and if not there, then at Evo.

Sorry this is so belated, and I tend to talk a lot, so here I go:
Big thanks to anybody and everybody I met up at NorCal that gave myself, Millertime, and Muffin Man, some good games, and really made us feel at home. Shout outs to papasi, darkness, georam, thrust, mizuki, the entire rotb crew: caesar, wicked, coffee, bernie, biocide, ultracombo, the CentCal guys, and everybody else I may have missed that played and hung out with us all weekend. We had an awesome time this past weekend, and we’ll definitely do our best to visit you guys up north more often.
Special shout out to Myung (sp?) who runs Game Center in San Mateo. You run an awesome arcade and are very accommodating of the ST scene, and I wish you much success in the future. Just from briefly talking to the man, I can tell he’s extremely passionate for the arcade scene, and certainly intelligent and capable enough to continue breathing life into the arcade culture. Looking forward to another visit at the arcade.
After playing you guys, I realize that I need to step up my game if I want to reach the next level, so I’ll work hard and put in the work so I can do well at Evo this year. I gotta help prove to the world that California has plenty of talented players, and those East Coast dudes shouldn’t stay comfortable for long.
Hey Myung joined a bay area high tech workers get together at facebook campus yesterday night and he told me awesome battles he had with the competitions there.
Little known that alex wolfe works at a high tech company in san francisco and he was invited, along with the cannon brothers. Myung was anchor of his team and carried the team to the finals, beating the cannon brothers but lost to alex.
Myung talked to alex and alex said he and his brother will be down to play with us at game center.
Myung asked if we are interested to set a date to play with the legends.
Sweet lord of mercy. If this happens, can I ask that you guys please stream or record the matches? I’d love to see Alex and Graham do their thing live, seeing as how I missed the chance to play them in their prime years.
The Wolfe bros eh? haha, I’ve heard a lot about Graham… I’d love to play him. How about June 15th weekend? I don’t really care, I’m just throwing out a date.
Graduation is June 15th. I think I’ll be free on the 14th (Friday), but anything after the 15th should be guaranteed for me. And I’ll be in South Korea starting August 3rd :tup:
