Got on GGPO for the first time tonight, and immediately quit. Why is it on turbo1, no free select? Can I change that?
Just press F2 I believe, and change the speed setting whenever you start up a game. And it’s set on Turbo1 because with input and internet lag, it’s the closest speed to offline ST. Personally I think Turbo0 is better, but that’s me.
word, thanks! it felt like mud, and even offline (my roommate and i were going to play) it was still turbo 1. I got really confused.

Addendum: I, too, became excited at the idea of other people getting excited about dedicating themselves to ST more. But as small as our community is, we just have to take whatever people are willing to give.
Yeah, it’d be great if Miz wanted to put more time into ST, but I’m also already grateful that he is our designated stream man. I’m glad that you were able to pick him up last time so we could get viewers from the Midwest, East coast, and “Down Under.” I try to give people rides to ST sessions so we can get more players and more fun out of the experience, but if they don’t have the desire to play, then I get to save more gas to make it to the next session.

Yeah, I mean I still like ST, but it’s mostly in the backburner just because like realistically the game won’t be as big as it was before, DOTA right now is my main game that I’m learning so ST isn’t going to get that much burn from me outside of sessions… But there is one thing I want to address…
ST won’t be officially at NCR most likely anymore, no space the stuff I talked about had to close that deal because of stuff, nothing bad on NCR staff, they were very accommodating.
Anyways, We need a qualifier for Norcal. I’m proposing a minor just for ST at Gamecenter or something so we can get a qualifier for the ST thing at Evo. If we can get enough people interested I will dedicate the time to iron it out and get it so we can have our qualifier, can’t always let Socal get one.
I would like to extend an invitation to you gentlemen: A chance to play Super Turbo (freeplay, of course) on the very same cabinet in this story. It’s an American cab, if that wasn’t obvious. But I just wanted to throw it out there if you guys want to come out to my neck of the woods and play on a piece of SF history.
