Casual area is free. But it will only be open for casuals as tourneys conclude and resources open up.

Hi John, not sure if [COLOR=#969696]xaznharryx [/COLOR]was refering to domain hotel or not, but last year at NCR the air circulation at the venue was not very good, and it wasn’t summer time. Also last year there was a $10 fee for spectators (on saturday at least, on sunday I didn’t see anyone checking), so this year (free) I would expect more people coming.
Please inform the hotel to crank the AC to the max 
BTW, are you going to setup venue on friday night and let people play casuals like last year? If yes, can we come by and drop off the TV, power strips etc since saturday morning there will be a huge crowd at the door… tia.

Fri night is just for emergency registration and setup. There are no casuals.
You may come Fri night around 10PM to setup your equipment.

MK9 just got updated to version 1.02, so we have to make sure that all of the stations are up to date or else there’s gonna be a ton of people using block infinites and bomb traps.
So if I want to spectate and play the byoc’s is it still free?

Yeah definately. Ill support all i could, but this year i couldn’t afford to enter the tournament. I am hoping its free for spectating + byoc so i’d be able to go. I was a little dissappointent when i went to ncr last year. It said on the website that spectating is free, yet they still charged $10 entry from everyone, and no where on the site did it say that. I left cuz i didn’t bring any money. Sad. Does anyone know?
I will have my arcade cab set up in my room after hours for casuals on 3rd Strike. During the day I am lending it to Papasi and friends for the ST tourney. I encourage anyone who wants to play arcade 3S on a Japanese cab to hit me up.
Bummer… it DID say it on the thread, but I guess it wasn’t updated on the site. To be safe, I’d say the thread has more up-to-date accurate information. Always worth a PM to whoever’s in charge if it’s important.

Daigo is confirmed for NCR. He will also be competing in MvC3 for the very first time.
