Yeah Chun Li has moves that flip her upside down, which was unfortunate for demonstration. If it had been Balrog/Boxer it would have been easier to fathom it staying there since he’s usually straight and upright for most of his attacks. Hell, it could add damage to his headbutts and a nice “bonk” sound effect.
I think it would be best for the bowl to fall off after receiving a certain amount of damage, that way winning a round with noodles on your head will mean something lol.
I would be absolutely disappointed if the finished product doesn’t add sound effects specific to the bowl head. Also some noodles should fall out if you get hit by an overhead. As for persistence… the bowl should stay on. It’s far too funny
Of course i can be wrong, but i suspect they just cut and paste the video to make up that scene and give a cooler look to the trailer
I find easier to believe that cutscene is what happen when you are outside and you end the round launching your opponent on the right
I believe that there will be no visual consequence, actually i don’t expect to see one “bowl head” for every stage… maybe not even the cutscene transition (like the door crushed to get inside the restaurant) will be a thing on all stages
Imho the only guaranteed thing will be get mini-cutscenes on the extreme left and extreme right KOs, after that some will have a lot of stuff/jokes some will just be simple and good looking
And probably will be better that way, the bowl head style stuff will pass from fun to omg not this shit again quickly if done twice in every single stage
Probably something like the bus drives away during the victory pose and if there’s another round the bus is gone. Then if they took it further it’d be funny if the character that got forced on the bus ride showed up late for the next round like Sakura’s old SFA2 intro.
