in a lot of RX’s urien videos in actual tourneys, he tends to lp headbutt and do lp aegis afterward and the opponents dont tech roll out like they always do. why is this? can they not tech roll after a special has been used or sumthing?
I think it’s just the lp Aegis animation that screws up the quick roll timing…
But I remeber seeing a True_Tech vid where dummy was on auto-roll and didn’t roll after Urien hit him (but was it a headbutt? I don’t remember)
Oh really, that’s kinda odd. I don’t remember that video, but the dummy should roll unless 1) it was last hit by an Aegis Reflector, or 2) the dummy’s health bar was depleted.
actually sometimes the dummy doesn’t roll even though they don’t get hit by a super. It appears random however.

Its just the Aegis timing, it throws players off timing. I don’t rely on those headbutt midcreen aegis UBs, I use corner and midscreen tackle UBs more often
