I only see her countering sentinal but i dont see her being able to face up to the other top tiers (mag, storm, cable) she practically dies to capcom assist in my opinion (IMO…). The only top tier I could beat easily was sentinal, then again I dont use IM/Sak/Sent

Okay… I’m having major problems against sent flying with mag projectile assist.
I use either mag/omega/sak, sakura/omega/jin, or omega/sakura/jin.
My mag is horrible compared to the other mags out there. I am considering swaping out jin or mag for iron man but I don’t know how to use Iron man.
I usually fair pretty well until I reach the flying sent with mag assist. (I beat a typical ironman/storm/mag team with sakura/omega/jin)
I do some random stuff usually. I like jumping in blocking to get their assist out so mine comes after or something else weird… like sakura’s shoken into Haru Ichiban on the assist.
Something else I like to do with Sakura (occationally) is to runaway for a bit to annoy them. I do this by super jumping and doing a hp fireball in the air doom style… almost. Usually they’ll try to jump up after me and attack but unless they predict this they their block it or get hit. If they don’t stay on the ground then I do another one and then I fall down.
Omega red… usually good against storm and some of her runaway. While against sent I can’t grab while he is sitting on the ground, he is usually doing some move that I can grab him out of. Acutally, I grab sent more often with the tenticle more than I do anyone else… on average. I’ll usually be super jumping around throwing tenticles. (diagonal down if they try to super jump, retract and aim down if they try to dash under me).
Also, his j.lp is great against airborn characters.
As for jin… well… great anti-air assist. I’m very good with jin to the point that, when a mag snapped him in I still applied a lot of pressure. Stuff like making the bloodia punch unblockable by hitting his assist first and the c.hk XX dynamite trick occaisonally. I also love it when he glows.

I don’t know if others have found this out but if you block mags c.hp you can do a lp shoken or the uppercut dash that everyone loves. Then have fun doing a super after that.

Me too! Just ask the people I’ve played who used Mag and tried to rush in. Sakura’s assist alone will stop him dead in his tracks.
A good anti Mag assist to have in your team IMO. I use Spiral(battery), Cable(to use meters), Sakura (to deal damage and stop ANYONE, love going through Doom’s rocks and Sent’s drones) LOL
