It just changes how potent the effect is. For example, with the Luke Cage card/s (which give you extra health), I don’t know the exact numbers but I think Lv 1 gives you 50K extra, Lv 2 gives you 100K extra etc.
how do you use the higher levels? is there a way to level up the cards, or does it depend on which slot you place them in?
It’s card specific. Some cards will be higher in the primary slot than in the secondary slot, others won’t. You have to read the description of the card to know. Also, for some effects (like starting with more meter at the beginning of the round) there are several cards that have the same effect, but some are higher levels than others so you want to pick the one that’s the highest. Also, if you use multiple cards with the same effect, the effects will stack. So, if you use a Lv1 card and a Lv2 card in the same deck, you’ll get the Lv3 effect. The maximum it can stack to is Lv4 though.
i figured that out today. the “Lin” card was supposed to regenerate my meter automatically, but it didn’t do anything until i put it in the first slot.
so i don’t have to do anything to activate the different levels of the cards, unless it has the primary slot symbol?
also, why do the cards have two descriptions? a higher and lower one.
Every card has two effects. The first (higher) one is when it’s in the primary slot. The second (lower) one is for when it’s in a secondary slot. For the Lin card, when you had it in the second or third slot, it was automatically using the secondary effect.
ohh, so the order does matter! what happens with cards that i put in the third slot? do they use both effects or something?
It’s not so much that the order matters, it’s just which slot is the primary slot. By default, it’s the one on the left but you can switch it to any of them with the L1 and R1 buttons when you’re making your deck. The two slots that aren’t primary slots are secondary slots, and will only use the secondary effect. For example:
Card 1 has primary effect A and secondary effect B, card 2 has primary effect C and secondary effect D, and card 3 has primary effect E and secondary effect F. If your primary slot is set to the one in the middle, and you put cards 1, 2 and 3 in order from left to right, the you will get effects B, C and F. That might be a confusing example, does that make sense?
I usually just join a team and wait til the week is over for herald colors.
I’ve been sticking with the Heroes team and almost never win! So far I’ve gotten Mr.Wrights Herald color and Weskers.
I tried playing this every once and a while, but its almost impossible to get a game…
thanks a million. i have all my decks in the right order now =]
