No longer for sale: 2 player Paduak and Tiger Maple Dovetail Stick

No longer for sale.
Due to size, will ship it parcel post. Local pickup will get a substantial discount.

2 player Dual joystick. My friends don’t play street fighter with me anymore, because I never lose, so I don’t really use this.
Hand cut Dovetails, Tiger maple. One of a kind.

Would like to find it a loving home. Painted Metal Top Panel. Not sure how to describe the paint, but it changes to black to rainbow colors in certain lights.
LS-32-01’s with frosty clear shaft covers. Sanwa Snap-in play Buttons on top and Seimitsus on the sides. It has square gates. I can swap it for round gates on request. case is JLF and LS-56-01 compatible
It is MC Cthulhu + Imp + Xbox 360 fightpad dual modded which means that it works for many systems.

Will include cables to make both sides compatible with Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PS1, PC, and Gamecube (and Wii via GC) Have to hold Guide/Home on plug in for Xbox use.

Measurements are: “Big as Fuck” for now but can get my ruler later.

Edit: Measurements are roughly
32 inches length x 12 inches width x 5 inches high.

This is an old picture. Now all buttons are white snap ins and the LS-32-01 now have square gates.

What I’ve guess we can call a Franken Fightpad. This Franken Fightpad is the mating of a Playstation 1 controller and a Project box. The 4 face buttons on the pad work still, but the R1 and R2 didn’t make it (they are mapped as Fierce and Roundhouse, respectively). Has a Playstation cord coming out for use with convertors. Tested with a PS2 and CvS2.
The sanwa buttons are mapped like the first left 6 buttons on a TE.

Purple Heart Wood. JLF, Seimitsu Buttons, MC Cthulhu Xbox Imp dual modded stick. RJ-45 with USB (PC/Xbox 360/PS3), PS2, and Gamecube cable. Top Panel is a 3 piece Gamingnow.net panel, Top piece acrylic, and bottom to pieces Lexan Polycarbonate. They use a Thicker version of Lexan Polycarbonate for bullet proof windows at banks.

Two minor flaws I should point out. Upper left hand corner has a 2mm hairline crack in plexi. Last picture some tear out with the corner patched up.

Is it possible to put art on it? Do you have a template?

Yes I used to have art in it.

I have a template. Make sure that it is set to 300 DPI for printing.
http://i730.photobucket.com/albums/ww301/rtdzign/JuriPurpleHeart/th_Template.jpg

so i see that you can put artwork under the plexi, does this mean you’ll also include a wooden top panel that fits under the plexi? i’m very interested in this, but i’m not wild about the idea of a plexi-only top panel.

also, could you post a pic of the inside? i realize the top is clear, but i’d like to get a better idea of what’s going on in there, where things are mounted, etc. thanks!

I’m also interested! PM sent.

The second layer is 1/8 inch Lexan Polycarbonate. It is a more flexible and durable material than wood or MDF. You can smack lexan with a hammer flat on concrete and it wont crack. This was the 3 piece panel that gamingnow.net was selling before they closed shop. I could replace it with MDF, but it would actually be weaker.

Edit: Just got back from the garage. I took a scrap piece of lexan and hammered it with a nail hammer on concrete. It didn’t crack but it did dent and spread like metal, but I mean, it’s a metal hammer. MDF would turn to dust if treated the same.

The PCBs are not mounted, they are stuffed in the corner and due to the tight space they are not going anywhere. The MCC and Imp have electrical tape covering the side pressed against the madcatz PCB and are zip tied together. The purple acrylic shown in the below picture has been removed.

Replied.

what’s the button layout for xbox/ps3/2/gamecube?

as long as the layout makes sense, i’d like to buy this today.

Button Layout is same as TE.

Edit: Sold to heddtrauma

Now selling the Franken Fightpad PS.

wow this thing is crazy. im just not even sure how you would hold something like this.

It goes on the right knee/thigh. Well that is how I do it.

This is definitely something interesting to me as i’m far better on pad than joystick.

Goodluck on your sale!!!

thats fucking intense.

price drop. now $80

Price dropped to $70 shipped USA

I want this, but no cash. That’d be so sweet to own.

rt, would you make one compatible for PS3 if I send you a sixaxis pad? would that even be possible?

The intention of this pad was to be used with converters. Because it is a official Sony PSX pad, This should work with the ps3 convertor on etokki.com. Strangely the website seems to be down at the moment, but I recall the inpin on etokki saying it works with all sony PS1 and PS2 official controllers. I got markman’s review of the convertor here.
http://sdtekken.com/tech-area/converters/inpin-play-converter/inpin-play-converter-review/

I’ve tested the PSX pad with my HV2G converter on PS3 and it worked.

Hacking a Sixaxis and Axis adaptor is out of the question. No space for the pcb, the buttons barely fit.

I see, PM sent
