The new bosses are pretty fucking awesome lol. Way more interesting than almost any of the youkai bosses in the first game.

If I manage to do the LCT stuffs this weekend, I’ll probably just customize my (1st) solo weapon char for the main game and call it a day, lol.
Btw I think the way they’re saying it’s being saved is with those character creator codes. Might not be actually saved data so might want to save a screenshot of that code just in case.

I’m stoked. I went through the demo again with the switch glaive this time. I wasn’t too fond of it from the first demo. Not sure if they buffed it or I was just dumb but Its super fun! You can swap stances mid combo somewhat like the odachi. Its main stat is magic so you get a lot of buffs. The damage magic seems lackluster but maybe it will be better with a higher magic stat.
Tried to hatchets as well. Just not my thing but the more weapons the better.

TBQH, I only like the naginata part of the naginatagama /switchglaive, lol.
Like, I feel they could’ve fleshed out the naginata and scythe as actual weapons, versus the stance-regalated stuffs of the switchglaive. I did like the tonfa, though.
I actually liked Switch Glaive more after playing around with all the skills. Having an actual transition attack to any stance without taking up a skill slot from other skills like Odachi is pretty powerful. That said, I’m not into it much on a visual level.
I really got into the Hand Axes though, and Kusa and Tonfa are fun as always. I will say the added Kusa skills are kinda iffy though, and I still have no idea what the fuck use Leaping Slash is.
Oh and Spear is fucking amazing. The new low stance ki pulse move is a pulse with a 4 way dodge that has hit boxes. It’s pretty much AMAZING. Kinda unfair when Spear is already one of the most versatile weapons =(

I didn’t fuck with the spear because I used it so much in the first game. I wanna see that skill now!
It is really damn cool. It does take some Ki to use but it’s amazing for getting away or keeping up pressure. And it just looks awesome
